Exactly, if anything it is that drive. Madonna always said that her critics give her that power somewhat, that drive to do what she does. And by aggrivating some dynamics it allows for the music to become clearer in some ways too.

Same for Britney! She is in a position that no matter what she will have music out there and it will access her fans and sell well and be heard!

I can only assume the release date of the video.Since it was mostly shot yesterday and granted that it looks like an action packed video (so the editing will be intricate), we will have to wait at least for 3 weeks.It will be released sometime during the first half of October, I suppose.

When it comes to the purchase of 'Criminal', if you want my advice (), it might be better if all Britney fans purchase the song after it's sent to radio and playlisted and after some promo.It will guarantee a better chart position and more buzz

I agree i say all of us Bu as if its a new Single with us and Hopefully the GP on board Criminal could go Top 10 then i hope she performs it and goes Top 3 or i hope No.1

Well, I think it's pretty simple tbh at this point
If she performs it, it will go top 10.
If she performs it in a major show (X Factor), it will go top 5
If she performs twice the same week with radio airplay, it will go top 3
No.1 is pretty much out of the picture, though

I'm thrilled that 'Criminal' has been chosen as the fourth official single release, it's definitely one of the best songs on the album.

I've seen exclusive images from of Britney shooting on location for the video.... not sure what to make of it so far.... I'm not liking the idea of her real life boyfriend appearing in the video... but I will reserve all judgments until I see the finished video in full. I have very high hopes for it... especially after her last video 'I Wanna Go' was so brill.

Here in the UK the song has real potential to be a success if she promotes it nearer to the time of release... I'm hoping for a major TV performance (The X Factor or Strictly) and a chat show interview (Graham Norton/Alan Carr/Paul O'Grady/Jonathan Ross). If all goes well then she could have a big UK hit on her hands, something she has not really had since 2008's 'Womanizer'.
