Well I could use a Britney album cover font I downloaded and maybe type it and then print it on a few sheets of paper and stick them together. The other option is to go to B&Q and buy some cheap plain white wallpaper banner and then draw or paint it on that. Wonder how that would look?

That sounds like a pretty good idea actually. The wallpaper thing, I never thought of that.

Having a Britney moment Oops has grown on me hugely though I think the latter half suffers.

Don't know what to listen to next feeling classic Britney.

In a Britney mood I take it HM? Now you know how I feel after one of L.A.'s lectures or after being in her office I listen to nothing but Britney for hours afterwards. If you want classic Britney what about Baby One More Time? If that isn't classic then I don't know what is. After that I suggest the album with Slave 4 U on (Britney). How does that sound?

Listening to Britney

My 3rd fave of hers and criminally and forever underrated

What about her first greatest hits? All the classic Britney singles are there.

I like to listen to albums as there are certain album tracks I just adore. so usually I'll pick 1 album then after cherry pick. A Britney buffet

so tonight Britney was the main meal ;p

I tend to do the same thing HM. It often depends on my mood and how much L.A. has annoyed me I have a playlist of Britney songs for every situation involving her. Are you going to listen to any more Britney albums tonight? I haven't got the GH albums. I downloaded 3 and the songs from My Prerogative I didn't have. However, if I do see My Prerogative or The Singles Collection cheap I might buy them for my collection or playing in the car.

Tonight I've been listening to BJ, I re-ordered the tracklist to see if it flowed better and I think was pretty successful!

1. Alien
2. Perfume (HAha I know you hate this CNBC but I love it)
3. Tik Tik Boom
4. Body Ache
5. It Should Be Easy
6. WB
7. Til It's Gone
8. Now That I Found You
9. Brightest Morning Star
10. Passenger
11. Hold on Tight

It's been growing on me the last week or so, I know it's widely regarded by most fans as her worst album but I'm not disliking it now as much as I used to.
I think I've finally gotten over my grief of what should have been Blackout 2.0 LOL.

Haha I must be the only one here who doesn't like Perfume (the song!). Well if you like it that's fine. That's your prerogative Maybe it's an album you have to listen to several times.

I love perfume prefer The Dreaming Mix though.

And I think Adz there are gems and it has grown. But i'll explain my dislike for it.

It just doesn't feel like an album. It hangs loosely and has no real moments of wow. It's lacklustre fails to go anywhere and overall is just a weak pallid imitation of previous works.

Circus with all it's faults has an identity. For me it's what you think BJ is. It's her explaining the crazy, isolation, and lack of substance it feels in short like a Circus just a pale imitation of Blackout.

Bj just lacks in everyway that feeling of a proper album.

Whilst the album has grown on me I get what you're saying, it feels very shoddily put together, the songs are enjoyable for the most part, but there are no immediate standouts (though I am partial to Alien), there is not much in the way of creativity or originality which a lot of her past albums have, even FF which was a straight out dance album had moments of uniqueness.
It's like the songs are listenable but none of them push any boundaries, none of them push forward or evolve Britney's sound like all of her past works have.
But I just try to think of it as a standard pop album with some nice ballads and some fun pop songs. I keep trying to imagine that an album like this would be acceptable for any other popstar.

Exactly

I Love FF and see it as more than a dance album it was a perfect mix of the two before and rounded off a nice Trilogy. Though singles should have been better picked.

I get the feeling with BJ it was meant to be something else but something or someone's got in the way. Thus rendering it nothing more than a stopgap.

People are forever mixed on Britney Jean but for me..i love it...and for me it is a proper album...I adore the sounds and styles on it...while i wish we had Feed The Wolves...there are so many moments of greatness.

Whenever i put on Britney Jean it feels like a chilling horror film set in a nightclub almost...if that makes sense? the EDm sounds sound a bit spooky/eerie....her voice sounds like it has been haunted and shaken sometimes...the production is kinetic and distorted from some trip hope elements to dance pop to heavy edm/industrial vibes to pure pop it is a weird album in essence....just wish it was PROMOTED.

I mean Work Bitch could have had a INSANE video....alien/glam visuals...as i discussed a couple months back o nhere...this album would have had PERFECT opportunity for her to wear kinda Space/Punk themes clothing/outfits/hairstyles....would have been epic to see really the songs suit it...would have made a beautiful front cover and inlay covers i think too many people wanted Blackout 2.0 due to the heavy hints but it works (WEEERK) by itself as its own album unfairly gets bashed ...and i prefer it to her first three personally too..while she had MANY iconic hits from them...i do prefer the flow of Britney Jean

As i say a kinda Ziggy Stardust/Veronica Electronica alter ego for the album would have work worked alien/space glam to match the euphoric/distant/edm/trippy beats and lyrical themes <3

While i rank Blackout, iTZ and FF higher....BJ is a beauty

I read somewhere that the Dreaming Mix was meant to be the original single version, but for some reason the version that ended up on the album was the one used. I don't know why they changed it. I agree about Britney Jean though. It's a mess of an album. It's all over the place. I absolutely love Work Bitch but it doesn't really belong on a supposedly personal album. It should have been released as a standalone single to promote Vegas and then another song should have been released as the lead single. Blackout in comparison is a very solid album.

Circus did seem a bit disappointing after the epic Blackout but it's still a very good album and the bonus tracks are great. Radar should never have been on it though. It should have stayed on Blackout where it belonged! If I had been in charge of the Circus tracklisting I would have released Radar during the Blackout era and then Circus would have come out in early 2009 rather than late 2008. I would have replaced it with the unreleased song Abroad. I would have also taken My Baby off the album and released it as a standalone song or even as a free download as a gift for the fans.

Apparently Perfumes video was going to be really dark...and her vision was very grimey/Tarantino inspired the director said...but the label last minute told them to change it to as we know it today...which I do not understand...i mean Criminal s a beautiful video and Britneys vision why did they not trust her with Perfume? what was their benefit?

No idea...again i just kinda wish there was more of a "theme" with BJ visually to help endorse the album. but i just feel all the focus is/was on Vegas and that is sad....I know i appear to be in a minority in loving the album but i feel it definitely deserved airtime.

Circus i do like but i get mixed on..some great songs, some ok songs but no real "flow" but i do love the Cirque imagery .

The Perfume video, yet another case of her management/label getting in the way and squashing her creativtiy. No wonder she's so nervous all the time, her label have probably turned her into a quivering wreck making her think she isn't talented by undermining all her creative choices.

NEW.LABEL.PLEASE!

Wasnt it early 2013 they said that Britney was in a label bidding war or soemthing between three big ones.

Def Jam, Island and Capitol or soemthing maybe Universal Music i dunno...anyway i think she will be better offaway from Sony...her home for 17 years ut time to breakaway from it

Praying for a label change as well tbh.

I just want a full on pop album next time round, not very adventurous I know, but I need some huge Britney pop anthems in my life again like Toxic, Womanizer and Till the World Ends.

That's not the first time her video concepts have been changed. Remember the original Gimme More video? Apparently it was supposed to be centered around the theme of reincarnation or something and the label didn't like it. Then there was the original Femme Fatale, which was meant to be more R&B (just listen to the unreleased song Pleasure You as it was meant for the album). Then they wanted it to be dance-pop as that was popular in 2010/11. Of course the biggest travesty is still Original Doll. Oh what could have been...

listening to The Original Doll song snippets on You Tube (fan made with demos/recordinvs from 2005 and 2006) my gosh how i wish it was released to shwocase more of Britneys ability as an artist...pure Pop with experimental sounds and personal vibes/lyrics...fantastic.

But there we go...while she has been around a long time already she is still only 32...there is plenty of potential for record labels to push her further and further and in turn for her visions to be fulfilled as it is such a shame.

I know Femme Fatale was meant to have more of an Urban/Industrial vibe to it but we got loads of hints of that on the final album version...there were Dub/Industrial themes...would have loved more of a dangerous vibe about it though , Britney had Orbit and Rusko involved on the album but the demos from Rusko burnt down in late 2010 unfortunately.

I truly feel with a new label they will help refocus her and reinvent her...the image she has right now i feel is just so messy...not sure where she is heading or going its AWOL, rehashing some previous couple eras/styles for Vegas etc...crazy she could do so much but alas.

I do think a new label will be the best for her...Kylie had a shake up at 33 when she released Fever ....it isnt impossible for Britney to achieve a second potential peak in the current musical climate.

I must say listening to Sky Ferreras latest album material etc i just think AH Britney could have material like that, and the Naughty Boy sounds just....she could really reinvent that image of hers and sound and direction and be ahead of the pack again

Which song snippets were you listening to? The only songs I know of that were actually OD songs are Do Somethin', (I've Just Begun) Having My Fun, Money Love Happiness, Mona Lisa, Peep Show and Ouch. I have those songs. Well it was meant to be a more artistic album and it would have changed the general public's opinion of her a lot. I think a lot of people were getting sick of her by then.

Yeah same! I would love album 9 to be a really dark and edgy urban album, with plenty of heavy beats I need more Urbaney in my life!
