Everything really. It's just so much more interesting than BBUK. Mainly the strategy and HoH though imo.

Veto. They did have Save and Replace in the British one, but among their many bad recent decisions they seem to have completey dropped it. They have live stream still, though the British one last year was better as they showed the Save and Replace task live.

Everything

the House
The HOH
the veto
Being able to talk about nominations
the HG's are always a good variety.
Live feed

It just tops the UK one by a mile, so what the public dont vote. The public suck at choosing winners most of the time anyway just look at some of our winners:
rachel
Brian 'The dumb one'
anthony
Josie the list can go on.

And dont get me started on evictions, the HM's choosing who goes... brilliant

this is.. really... far out.... but would the UK version would never consider doing a US style? To be honest, I don't know whether us British could pull off such masterminding in terms of lying and backstabbing... plus I imagine our UK audience wouldn't like it all. I feel we're very much a nation of panto... we always want the villians out first, therefore killing the whole point of it all.

For me I always like how the most hated HG gets far just by luck in the competitions.

I think Rachel winning HoH 2nd time was fab and also Kalia.

Also Jordan winning against Natalie and Kevin.

Just the fact that the underdogs can get far IMO.

People secretly like the 'villains', they just don't want to admit it. The main point is that people (not me though) are used to voting people out and some people just wouldn't accept the HMs doing that. Save and Replace was a good way of giving more unpredictability and the HMs more power but some people won't even accept that returning.

Voting to save instead of evict might change that a bit. Look at Darren in CBB this year. If it had been 'vote to evict' I think he would have gone early.

I love that it is a game and nobody pretends it isn't. In the UK version the biggest insult one HM can pay another is to say they are 'playing a game'. More people seem to apply for BB in USA because they love and respect the game rather than just doing it for 15 mins of fame.

Although there is plenty I prefer about the UK version, I wouldn't mind seeing it become more competitive because my favourite thing about BBUS is the strategising. I loved Kaiser's plan to get Cappy in S6 and Nakomis' 6-finger plan in S5. Danielle and Jason's secret alliance in S3 was genius.

There is some strategising but once one group gains control it's hard to change things, and unfortunately people are too conservative to accept having Save And Replace.

Eww. I hate Chen. I used to find her rubbishness kind of charming but now she just annoys me.

No. She is just too awkward and weird. And she can reach Davina levels of bias sometimes even though she tries to pretend she's neutral.
