He's most likely not going to be taken seriously because of all the daft astrological references and 'jokes' that are probably going to be made in the show.

I know it's common to make considerable judgements about people based on their appearance, but this just stems from little more than some dodgy, preconceived stereotypes. Just saying, don't discount him just because he's a short, camp, fat guy, just wait and see if he shows any flicker of being a good dancer. ”

EDIT- although I should add that I wouldn't envy the female pro that gets Bremner or Audley Harrison either

Audley Harrison will probabley get Erin (isn't she the tallest girl?)

Natalie is the tallest - 5ft 9 - Audley and Dann are 6ft 5 and 6ft 6 respectively . Katya could also get Audley/Dan

Exactly - it is more of an aesthetic thing, but given all of the other guys are at least 6 foot, chances are Russell will be paired with a short female pro (it's the 6 foot bit that is unusual this year).

There is some mean spiritedness on this thread, but he does stand out as someone who is not a contender and on here you will always get mean people. Judging by the video clip on the BBC this morning, I don't think Russell will turn out to be a real duffer. In fact, everybody looked okay to me with nobody standing out as dreadful.

As I said I think Ola or Flavia will be paired with Russell and I think he will be decent dancer, but not a contender and fans of Ola and Flavia naturally want to see them with a contender.

I'm torn between wanting Robbie to get someone like Erin or Natalie who will tear him a new one, and wanting him to get someone less popular so the chances of him going early are maximised.
