Which celebs do you think look the best or worst in the promotional shots?

I really like Edwina's Indian style outfit and the worst has to be Chelsees.

I actually really like Lulu's dress, and I agree the worst is Chelsee's - are they trying to make her look a bit like Rihanna?

I think of the women Nancy's is the most flattering and Chelsee's Mermaid/Dolly Parton/Cowardly Lion combo the least.

For the men Dan's makes him look v. handsome indeed, and whilst I'd be tempted by the second-hand car-salesman awards ceremony vibe Jason's giving off as worst, the little replica WWE title-belt they've stitched onto Audley's outfit pushes him over the edge. Rory's looking pretty darned annoying already as well.

Best - Dan's (closely followed by Nancy who looks amazing for her age)
Worst - Chelsee (makes her character in WR look classy)

This year I think the men have fared better in the photo shoot than in previous years. The photos seem a little more toned down.

They definitely did something weird to the photos last year.

Alesha - what happened to her? That aint a flattering photo - she's channelling 'Ladyboy'

Last year the style was the same as that used for promo shots of the Apprentice. They increase the contrast to get more 'drama' to the shots but in doing so they make them all look either very diseased or mental.

I know one thing or two about photography. Those increased in contrast works for landscapes but terrible on portraits.

So this year no such faffing about. The photographer (if it's the same one) took a more straightfoward studio-style approach, i.e. lighting that flatters and covers up the multitude of sins rather than emphasizing them.

I mean, when I looked at the Apprentice shots, I thought they were all douche bags. Not far from the truth in reality, but the at least they looked more human in the main show than in those dire promo shots.

Last year they were made to look like wax works - I remember Peter Shilton looked like Dracula! I know what you mean about contrast, but they really got the lighting wrong!

The lighting affects the contrast as well. You can use diffused studio lighting or just shine the hell out of them with direct flash light.

Dont know about best but Chelsee is by far the worst !!!!! and her video is awful too comes across as a cross between Kerry Katona and all the worst bits of Alesha. I knew nothing about her and was expecting something like Louisa Lytton !!! how wrong can one be.

Robbie's pink shirt/long blonde hair combo looks ridiculous.

Holly and Alex look really pretty out of the girls.

Chelsee and Edwina look a bit ridiculous. Edwina's make-up, more so than her clothes.

Dan Lobb looks hot in his photo, as does Nancy! Chelsee's photograph is doing nothing for her.

I wonder.... don't the costumes usually get more elaborate and, perhaps, more beautiful, as the show goes on ? Maybe more work goes into those costumes once the celebs have proved their spots as it were ? I'm not sure the dresses, in particular, for the first shots are ever all that flattering - and aren't the celebs also worried about being too uncovered, early on ?

If Chelsee didn't have silly ruffles in her hair, I think she would look alright. She's already got a lot of body in her hair, so I'm not sure why the stylist thought she would need more on her head. Less is more, I think.

I think Rory and Jason looks smart in their suits, but don't like the pose.

Overall, Dan, Anita and Alex are the best. They looks great and very natural.

Dan, Harry and Holly look hot. So easily the best three

The worst IMO is Jason, Chelsee and Rory.
