The story of the showdance demonstration tonight.

The Judges gave him 39 so there would have been no negative comments or would have been I hate but here is a 10.

And if your suggesting that the jewel in the crown of BBC entertainment is fixed don't you think the press, not the biggest fans of the BBC, would be all over them?”

Oh thank you.

But I think this post is far more worthy; from the thread about the sad death of the first Strictly producer.

From Topaz
Quote:
“What a sad loss to his family and the entertainment business and I agree what a handsome and genial looking man he was.

However, what a great legacy to leave behind that he created this wonderful show - that is loved by millions across the globe and inspired many to take up dancing as a passtime.

Just a suggestion but I hope the current producers will dedicate the next series of Strictly in his memory,

My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.”

For cosideration of the Comedy Series award from post Number 383 Of the Dear SCD Diedrie Thread (below) to post Number 399

I have laughed so much they have all made me choke on my corn flakes this morning

Dear Arlene,

It is precisely because you are a known quantity (100% proof barking mad old trollop) that the BBC would be wise not to approach you with anything resembling one of those long sticks they use on boats that travel down canals.

With reference to SurBrucie, if he's that kind to the animal in question then maybe he could let it remain in its basket of a Saturday evening instead of perching it precariously on top of his head. It can't be good for the poor creature's disposition. He could even invent a new catchphrase to go with the momentous occasion - "Nice toupee you toupee you, nice."

Yours (getting one's coat),

Deirdre.

One had a message starting "With prejudice....", ahhh from a lawyer. Thanks Nancy.
Another said "My name is B......" then stopped as he thought better of it. Thanks double-o-seven, Auntie Deirdre is stirred, not shaken.
One said "Nice to see her, to see her nice." Please Brucie, will you get hair out of your mind for one day?

And to all my readers who did not get a card today, love from

Yours ever,
Auntie Deirdre”

What a lovely message. And well done Leftie too for really finding his feet on the Dear SCD Deidre strand!
