There were rumours she did turn in an album in the first half of the 00s, but it was rejected by her record label.

Kilami Gates rings a bell as the supposed title.

She's Macy Gray, only slightly less mad.

The racism quotes weren't even true. I've never believed that for a second and there is zero evidence to back any of it up.

Its a shame we only got the one album but maybe that's why she is regarded so highly. I doubt it could ever be topped so she was never going to match it.

She says she would rather haver her kids starve than have a white person buy her music. But that's just fine cause all the black and white kids started buying Eminem in 1998 anyway and in 2010 he was crowed artist of the decade with a total of over 90 million record sales. She wouldn't have stood a chance anyway and she certainly doesn't stand a chance nowadays.

Were these links meant to provide conclusive proof?

The first one proves she isn't a racist and the second one is from a trash paper who has taken something she said out of context.

Here's an interview she did only 2 weeks ago - do you see any "craziness"?

An idiots rehashing of the same rumour doesn't make it true: http://www.snopes.com/quotes/lauryn.asp

I dunno. I like Lauryn Hill as well She is talented. Racism??? Unless you are 'Screwdriver' 99% of musicians are not driven by racisim. Musicians are driven by their love of music and wanting people to hear their own creations.
