Inspired by the Emmerdale thread

I thought it would be nice as Hollyoaks don't seem to have many threads in this section

1000 - First broadcast 23rd October 1995

995 - In 2008 Gemma Merna (Carmel) admitted she felt the show is underrated.

"We are completely underrated as a show, which is so frustrating. People just think we are gorgeous models who have nothing else to offer. But the truth is we have some seriously talented actors and we're fed up with being the little sister to Corrie, EastEnders and Emmerdale. We're fighters and we're so passionate about what we do. We have the balls and just go for it. And I think we should get credit for that"

He sang Girl in The Moon and also had a speaking role. In real life he and Ali Bastian were at Edinburgh Uni at the same time.

Girl in The Moon was used as a theme(their song) for Ben and his girlfriend (?) in at least one other emotional episode.

985 - Jamelia sang Bout in the very same episode.
