Struggling to find any reference to this. I really miss Matthew Cutler It's crazy that they sidelined him yet Anton is still in.

Nope, they've axed it this year. No Ian, Matthew or Darren sadly.

The Troupe was completely pointless last year! They were hardly used.

It was better than nothing though. I do miss Matthew and Ian.

Since Zoe Ball is hosting ITT, I hope we'll get to see Ian (her pro partner), Matthew etc. there. After all, they are not dancing anymore, so they are give proper critique!

hi there - just popping in to say that unless anything changes between now and December, Matthew is not doing any choreography or ITT appearances for this year's SCD. He was asked, but chose not to take the BBC up on their offer of doing choreo.

Thanks for the TQ. So sad for us fans, but glad for him that he is able to turn down the work.

I read that Ian has rearranged his Wednesday night classes because of commitments to the BBC, so I'm hoping that means he will be on ITT with Zoe. Fingers crossed.

I'm sad about that but hoepfully that means he has lots of work on which is good for him.

Aww. Matthew's fans must be disappointed.

hi there! I am very happy he's not in it! he's in a very different and happy place just now and doing very well with his own dance school. Is best to keep the integrity of your profession, I think, than do the halfway house of the dance troupe, which I thought frankly was an insult to some very good dancers.

I dislike the dance troupe too. But not to come for the ITT was a bit sad. He can give comments at the midweek report surely. Does that take a lot of time?!

just wanted a complete break I guess! he is so busy with other things just now - lots of travelling and teaching as well as his new dog and very busy with the dance school and professional judging, doesn't leave much time for other things.

Things can always change, however! so although there is definitely no choreo from him for this SCD season - you never know he may be persuaded to ITT!

In my opinion, changes were made, as some of the pros were becoming so well known to the viewers and thus perceived by viewers as bigger "celebrities," than some of the contestants who were becoming more and more "down market."
That would never do! Would it?

To be honest, I was much more interested in the professional group and individual performances than many of the contestants.

The BBC has messed around with this show so much over the last few years, that I now only record it and fast forward through the uninteresting bits.

Agree with all of that.

I want Lilia back. If they don't bring her back I'm going to send myself to the It Takes Two studios in a giant cake and pop out with a machine gun like a mobster.
