She irritiates the hell out of me!

Why does she have to be in everything?

No, I am not at all keen on the woman. She is still trading off the 60s. Her career has stalled in the last 5 years or so.

I cannot stand her. One minute she's American, then verges into Scottish..she'll act all young and cool and will probably just look a bit of an idiot doing so!

I'll join the CSLL club, for the same reasons already cited, also, she's just a bit too bubbly me me me.

I'm not one of them, but you certainly are not alone, (which is usually the case when someone says "am I the only one who..." ). To be honest, the comments about her I've seen in the past few days have actually cemented her as my early favourite, there have been some very harsh comments.

I veer between detesting her and thinking she's alright

I still like her but not that much. If she is nice and works hard on Strictly then I wont complain. Think she could be very good

She's probably going to be like Pamela Stephenson of last series, very good elegant dancer but not universally liked by the viewers. Thus, she may get to the final but very unlikely to win, if her alleged bitchy character is revealed...

I've always considered her "Miss Shouty."

On a TV magazine programme a couple of years ago, her responses to questions gave me the idea that "she wasn't a full shilling,"
But perhaps I'm being unkind and it was due to the fact that the skin on her face which appeared rigid and made it expressionless was possibly due to a "popular cosmetic treatment" which inhibited her ability to speak.

She's an absolute nightmare to work for. I really hope that she exposes that side of herself, because I feel she has had an easy ride when you consider how many people who have had day-to-day dealings with her think so badly of her. IMO she has a touch of the 'Cilla's' about her.

However she will probably be sweetness and light and end up winning, at which point I shall throw my television out of the window.

Hmm..

If you like her and her sort of music, why should I care?

You're entitled to an opinion, but you seem to think I'm not.

Strange that.

Hmm..

I love the "I was just" or "I was merely" excuses.

When interviewed she's usually up her own a*** so I suspect many people are waiting to see how deferential she will be to her partner when he orders her around ( and they all do!!)

Excuses? I know you Doghouse, in this forum. You don't mince your words, and that I can respect. But you are always the first one to run others down if they don't agree with you. C'mon be honest now.

Stop misbehaving and get back to the Unappreciation thread, where you sarcasm and wit is understood and nurtured!

Hmm..

Do you want to think about that?

I was at least only the fifth person to say something negative about her on this thread.

So not the first.

I'd also take issue with your use of the word always.

But never let facts get in the way of an adverse comment, about a fellow poster, eh?

I never run other posters down, find a post where I have,

But I will take them to task over unnecessary personal remarks to me over my point of view about a person or programme on TV.

How many times do I have to say I don't mind what other contributors think about people on TV?
