Well, I'm not quite a RHCP fan, but the album "I'm with You"is pretty good. My favorite song is "Monarchy of Roses". So which one do you like most?

Huge fan of the Chili's but I am a little underwhelmed by their new album. I wasn't a fan of Raindance Maggie when I first heard it, but it has grown on me and now think it is a solid song.

I think my main problem is the departure of John Frusciante, who was such a big part of the bands sound. Josh Klinghoffer's style is different, but I think the bands music suffers as a result. Maybe I'll grow to like it, who knows. I've listened to the album in full around 3 times and I can say that the only song (aside from Raindance Maggie) I really properly like is Even You Brutus.

Here's hoping the album is more of a grower as I listen to it.

It's definitely a grower ( although certainly not up to the standard of previous albums )...first few times I listened to it , I couldn't remember how any of the songs went , but after a while it started to get into my brain !

There's no Frusciante - it was bound to be a bit of a let down. I'm still enjoying it though, and I agree with barneyb - it does get better the more you listen to it.

I quite like RHCP for Under the Bridge, Californication and Fortune Faded. The Zephyr song sounded a bit bland, but it is probably unique for having a y and a z in the title! My favourite of theirs is clearly Dani California.

My favourite band, I'm going to see them in November perform the 'I'm with you' tour! So excited

My fav's from the album are probably Factory of Faith, Look Around, Annie wants a baby, Meet me at the corner and Did I let you know?

I recommend to other casual fans Blood Sugar Sex Magik it is a fantastic album, I really cannot fault it.

I loved the RHCPs' earlier albums when they were funkier. As time has passed, their output has become increasingly sterile and generic. All their modern ballads sound the same; Californication, By The Way, The Zephyr Song etc - and they're all pretty boring.

Give me Freaky Styley or Blood Sugar Sex Magik any day.

While I only have By the way and Greatest hits (plus some of the good early songs like Knock me down) I've not been to interested in the last two albums, both sounded so bland compared to the amazing songs they've produced iun the past. A strange way of describing it but my favourite chilli pepper songs are the ones that just sound like 4 guys sitting round a fire in the woods with their guitars, Breaking the girl, My Friends, Soul to squeeze...
