Series 1 - Lesley Garrett - she really should have been in the final with Natasha!
Series 2 - Aled Jones - he was robbed
Series 3 - Colin Jackson - yes I KNOW he was runner up - but he should have won!
Series 4 - Louisa Lytton/ Carol Smillie - robbed because the PTB wanted La Bunton in the finals
Series 5 - Gabby Logan - they only kept Penny 'cos Rod was due to appear the next week!
Series 6 - Gethin Jones - the judges have a lot to answer for!
Series 7 - Don Warrington - he should have lasted longer than he did!
Series 8 - Jimi Mistry - I think he should have lasted another couple of weeks!

And of course Jade retired through injury. I was gutted when she went - I really thought she was a potential winner.

Those I felt strongly should have gone further:

Aled - I've never forgiven Julian Clary.
Jimi - I don't think he'd have won but he had a lot more to give.
Don Warrington - I remember Lilia was really upset when he took an early bath.

Way back in Series 1, Verona Joseph was a lot better than she was given credit for (and should probably have outlasted Martin Offiah and Chris Parker)
