Anyone else looking forward to watching Alex jones?

I don't watch The One Show, but I quite like her.

I'm not sure what her dancing will be like... but it will be interesting to see how they ALL get on !

I didn't realise The One Show was quite that popular, but it will ensure Alex stays for a while.

She seems nice but also quite unsure of herself and lacking in confidence. l don't think she'd be well suited to a very competitive pro. I think she needs someone who is quite gentle and laid back and encouraging (e.g. Robin).

I think Alex might be intresting It could go two ways with her, either really good or absolutely terrible so why do I think she is going to be good? I hope I am right

She looks and behaves on the One show like a Christine Bleakly clone - can't remember who CB danced with, or how far she got

Matthew Cutler was her dance partner, think she came 5th.

Actually that's my problem with Alex, but I'm hoping away from the One Show we'll get to know her better. She certainly looks the part!

no - she 's the only one in this lineup I seriously dislike. Will be tempted to record and fast forward through all her routines.

I like her I think, but then i like everybody.

I'm hoping I get to see more of her personality on Strictly as I can't seem to get past looking at her and thinking she's Christine Bleakly

No doubt they will promote her every night on the show and she will act all shy, so predictable it will be the same with gurner Dan on Daybreak.

I'm not a big fan of her, but think she will get a good partner, maybe someone like James perhaps? Brendan's probably the other realistic possibility (think Robin might be too short for her in heels)

I find her loud voice very irritating, so watching her dance, without talking, will be good.

She scrubs up VERY well! I think she'll be a mediocre dancer though, maybe good but with not enough support, much like Lisa Snowdon etc

She is so like her I thought she was Christine for awhile.

The only thing is, in the pics from the red carpet event, something in her posture made her look a bit 'Bambi-ish', I hate to say it, but again reminiscent of Christine!

i dont like her but maybe getting to know her better on this programme it will change my perception of her.

She is one of those bland, cheery TV presenters in the mould of Christine Bleakley who I find irritating. I am really disappointed in the celebrities this year. Could they not get better people?

I loved it when Dame Edna was on the ONE Show just after Alex started. Dame Edna kept calling her Christine

I think if you have seen a good bit of Alex presenting you might think she is more outgoing than Christine, Alesha commented on this on The One Show last night and also said that Bruno has said that Alex has good rhythm.
