I really like Sparks! I'd go so far as to say I *love* Sparks! Its catchy as hell - instantly catchy. And again - not good enough for the album?

I know! it's amazing...3 gorgeous catchy songs that we (most of us) instantly want to hear more of & they're not even on the album!

From the snippets we've heard so far of Chemical and Sparks, which didn't make the album, Letters is going to be incredibly brilliant. Being told that his performance skills are even more amazing makes me even more excited (if that's possible) for the gig at KOKO

Heard rfyl on Rad1, very nice with my morning cuppa an toast, was waiting to see what Moyles said after it had finished and he went on the say he really liked it (or words to that effect) with the gang saying they liked a good chorus Lets see if it gets up a grade playlist wise on Wed.

As for the quality of these other tracks which have failed to make the album and the general buzz from those who have heard it on preview, I'm just going to sit in my little comfy smug corner and just watch the reaction when folks have taken a little walk over "the bridge" towards Matt's own penned works

Good grief - I don't know why but I thought he would be a bit off about it (possibly because of his general sarky attitude about everything) - still don't like him though.

LOL He did then go on to say Matt still looked like a plumber to him and then they all tried to sing it but obs no way could they reach the notes! It all could have been a lot worse!

Well I have to agree with that. On a day to day basis it's nice to see him remaining who he is whether that be in his private life, recording at studios, even the radio interviews. I love a bit of scruffy Matt. But tbh, as much as I like the RFYL video, the biggest let down for me is the check shirt (which he was wearing a few days earlier) and jeans and it is hard to defend him against a lot of the YT comments saying that he looks dull/boring. For that video, surely a stylist could have got him into a white fitted shirt for example. It didn't need to be flouncy, popstarry - just more upmarket than the workwear. If the video was him playing with the band in a live performance, then the checks could have been more appropriate. I think Matt and his team have to work out a balance for him in his styling.
