Until about 3 months ago, if you googled "Matt Cardle" he was the first option on the drop down list. Then he went down to number 3 behind Matts Smith and Damon. Last week he was dropping to the 5th name and I was a bit concerned that he was really dropping off the radar, despite the more recent publicity. Well, I googled for some news today and he is back to number 2 behind Matt Damon. I think this is a really good indicator that the interest is perking up again.
