Due to excessive use of brain bleach last year, I can't remember the format, but I *think* everyone did 2 dances, ballroom and latin, before anyone was eliminated.

Finally, since they only get paired up this week, is there going to be another hiatus of a few weeks before the first Proper show with dancing?

Claudia will be doing the results & hopefully they will still be doing both styles before elimination.

The first two shows like last year are consecutive - on Fri 30th and Sat 1st. Each couple will dance a ballroom or latin and I'm hoping there is no elimination. The week after all the couples will dance the other style on Sat and then one will be eliminated.

And do we know if the dance off is back?

It will follow the same format as last year. First week are a show on friday and a show on saturday. Each day has 7 couples and they'll perform a ballroom or latin dance (usually cha-cha-cha or waltz) and there will be no elimination. The week after they'll all come together and perform another dance, latin if they performed ballroom the week before and vice versa, then someone will be eliminated in the second week.

I did think the two dances before elimination was a good idea last year, but although the pairings show is fun, I felt the gap afterwards before the show really got going was weird.
I hope they put lots of training clips online to keep us occupied.

I would quite like ITT to start the week before the first show so you can see the training and the music and the outfit and the like and get a feel for things before it starts.

Yep or at least have say a 1 hour preview on the Friday. I also wish they would have an ITT on the Monday after the final.
