I can't wait to hear Zooey's version of Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree. I'm getting a bit bored of the Peggy Lee (or is it Brenda Lee?) and Mel & Kim versions.

Sorry but this is rubbish and misleading. Dvds have regions, cds don't. Any cd from anywhere in the world will play on any cd player.

Just a couple of tracks in and it's Alright. I am not fond of Xmas albums anyway. My main problem is that they haven't given anything new to these Christmas classics. Zooey sounds bored singing them, as if she was forced.

Just listened to it all the way through (it's out on spotify) and it's great. Pretty much exactly what you'd expect from a She & Him Christmas album.
Zooey sounds INCREDIBLE on it, especially on the more toned down tracks. It's gorgeous.

Ahh, I'm corrected! I wasn't criticising you, sorry if you took it that way.
I was really looking forward to hearing their version of "baby it's cold outside" as we'd already heard Zooey singing this in Elf. However I was a little disappointed that they'd switched characters (Zooey took male vocals whilst Mark took female vocals). Zooey sounded so lovely singing the female vocal in Elf that I wanted to hear it on their christmas album.

Wasn't "Indie" once used to describe someone on an independent label? If so, then they are indie as they are on Merge Records. Though in terms of sound, they are pop.
Haven't really listened to their christmas album in full yet but I will at some point. Probably nearer to Christmas.
