When will digital spy provide some forum apps?

Or do they already ?

I'm using my ipad2 to write on here. One of the other forums I use have an app for iOS and android. Makes it so much quicker and smoother to navigate.

Digital spy is one of my favourite forums to use...I would love for them to bring out an app specific to the forums.

What other forums do you use that has an app for it? I use iPad forums and trip advisor apps....I think they are great (well the trip advisor app has faults that are quite annoying but it's quicker and handier than loading up the webpage)

its already been discussed many times and basically it looks like they won't unless they can push ads to the app

Something wrong with safari? (besides the annoying pop up people get when they visit forums that support an app)

We have come a long rocky road from software being Balkanised. Suggesting a return to those bad old days is not a good idea.

Is there really any point in apps for the web?

If it does not work well on mobile web then it usually means the web site has room form improvement.

Or the browser on the device is inadequate.

I visit DS on my Ipad2 all the time and find that it works absolutely fine.

I'm not saying there's Something wrong with using safari. I actually really enjoy usingnsafari compared to my browsers on my android devices, I just thought the other website I use with an app is pretty cool and smooth.....I guess this is too. Infact I have this bookmarked so it's not really a problem.

Nothing wrong with safari. Just thought I'd ask.

I use tapatalk for several forums on a 1024x600 tablet and its much better then trying to use a browser.

But seeing as DW don't support tapatalk, there is a mobile version of the site which is OK but still not great on low resolution phones and tablets.

On my phone, when I go to DW site - it automatically starts the mobile site.... for the forums, I exited out of the mobile site and got the full site up and just saved it as a bookmark - don't like the mobile sites..... don't use DW too much on my phone anyway - just for browsing...

I'm going to look at the tapatalk as I've seen it for a few other forums I'm on...

I use Tapatalk it's pretty good. Would be great to have DS on there.

If Tapatalk was owned by Google or Microsoft, just about every forum owner would make their forum compatible with it. But it's Chinese and a bit obscure so lots of indifference.

Tapatalk is great unless you don't want the bloody thing, then you keep getting pop ups when you visit enabled forums. There is a special place in hell reserved for the scumbag who developed that.

If your browser is no good then use another one, Atomic works fine on here.
