Also, to add: Points for Len doing a standing ovation for a 'real' man dancing a 'fairy'-style dance, like Rhumba. Extra for Len saying to the male contestant "And you came out..." (not meaning he 'came out' as gay, just 'came out' of the dancefloor)”

Extra bonus points if anyone actual does "come out" during the series.

And not one of the obvious ones.

Nah, snogging Bruno's easy. Better to snog Len - especially if you're a sportsman (and not an airy-fairy kind of sportsman, who barely qualifies as a sportsman) - then you'll really pickle his walnuts (hopefully forever).

Edwina's taking an early lead

Superfan:
We talk about Edwina the mother — as curious a creature as Edwina the wife. She tells me her granddaughter was called Zoe after Zoe Ball, who was a contestant on Strictly the year she was born. ‘So I really am that much of a fan!’ she says.

Dead relatives:
Her daughters and granddaughter will be cheering her on tonight. So will her mum, she thinks, though she died in 2004.
‘She will be looking down, saying: “Go, girl!” She was a huge fan and the last real conversation I ever had with her was about Strictly.

Doing it for the oldies:
The official line is that she is taking part because she broke her ankle last year (hence an invitation for me to feel the pins that hold the bone in place) and is on a mission to keep fit and show that older age doesn’t have to mean a Zimmer frame.

Perhaps it should be changed so that anyone old enough to have grandchildren themselves need only dead parents?

Mentioning dead relatives that would have loved to have seen you do this show.

Alli just didn't include that one on her bingo card - she went for the Nans-Dead nans option.

I like all the suggestions btw, I feel a Strictly Judges Drinking Game and Strictly Pro Maestro will be within the realms of possibility along with Forum Bingo.

Alli forgot how old this year's cast is - on the women's side at least, you'd have a much better chance with dead relatives and grandkids...

Very true, though I can imagine Nancy pulling out an old italian lady as her grandmama. She is only 40 (ish) after all.

I'm flouncing out of this thread, I thought the fogeys would be more dignified, I didn't count on Eggwina actually reading this thread!

I thought it would be the young men again this year, like Soppy Scott last year. I thought it would be Robbie bringing out the cute kids/dead family.

Why did I not learn, after last year, that politicians have no shame!

No, I mean predicting when something will happen - and being right, e.g. Audley will dance to Eye of the Tiger when he does the Paso!

Has anybody suggested Robbie kicking or heading a ball during a routine yet?

Russell is already developing a bromance with Robbie...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00k8s38 (from about .48)

Anybody got that on their bingo card?

Robbie is finding it difficult and is expecting to get some stick from his colleagues.

Lulu is old, but also not old. Nancy is not old at all at only 3 decades.

Any more we've missed?

Woah! Russell has an injured foot according to his tweets (god I hate that word and hate myself for typing it ).

The live shows haven't even started yet. Bit worried some are peaking too early.

Because we're taking the mickey out of the celebrities, not really playing a game.

Oh and I had foot injury! Woohoo! Thanks Russell!

PMSL brilliant.

Even though I'm guilty of playing some of the games over there, I don't take it deadly seriously like they all seem to do. Would love to see their reaction if you posted this on there!

They'll never find out, a lot of work goes into them games y'know. Don't have time for trivial things like reading the forum for the show the game is supposedly based on.

I'm not invisible, you know. Thought I'd pop in and say hi, but I might as well just get my coat.

True! Always the same people to 'sign up' for every single game going there. And then there's the constant brown nosing
