Yes, but playing the 'bad knee' and 'pro with a cold' card in one week could be pushing things....

Does threatening to punch Craig gain or lose points

Isn't it a case of being type-cast or not-cast. I bet people still go "Alright Ange?" even if she hasn't been in EE for 23 years.

Maybe after this she'll be more Anita than Angie.

Bah, it was on the radio and was only Paul McGann.

It's no wonder Nancy went out. Apart from a Famous Ex, and an injury to be treated with high heels, I don't think there was anything else? Feud with Edwina count?

Oh, I dunno, showmance with herself, hilarious on ITT (not sure about intentional), kicking off in training, in wardrobe, in studio, with judges! Crutches with high heeled boots, points in that, I think she's doing quite well!

Harry has:
bandmates (his equivalent of teammates) in audience and in training, and was embarrassed to dance in front of them
is working really hard (high training hours) but not so hard that he's boring, or anything but instead is having Much Fun
has came ALIVE on the dancefloor
a hint of a bromance with Audley and Robbie? (Even though he SABOTAGED Audley's hat!)

Alex has had *thinks*
bad comments from the judges and subsequent confidence-boosting COME-BACK
is Welsh
is trying to live up to the memory of Matt (closest she's got to a teammate)
has famous friend in the audience - that's why she was sitting on John Prescott's knee, right?

Also, she has been dressed up as the pro's wife. That's new.

There is also a new take on the confidence aspect - he was confident on the pitch, but is experiencing a Sally Field "you love me... you really love me" conversion on the dancefloor.”

He also has a bromance with Harry going.

Jason got a vt message from famous ex-girlfriend Kylie.

Any more from this week?

Turning Chelsee into a pwincess is a rewrite of Alesha, which should surely count.

Harry had a repeat of colleagues visiting him and reiterating how difficult what he is doing really is.

Robbie is hammering home the Wembley thing, which is this year's Craig-Kelly-wants-to-go-home-to-Blackpool.

We forgot the obvious... Artem injury+ woobie face and Holly having to dance with a stand in!

It's a combo of Artems injury last year and Michelle having to dance with Ian when Brendan was at his dads funeral.

Quote:
“Have a wound. Jade Johnson levels of wounding are not to be encouraged but a slight flesh wound, possibly involving an Ugg boot and packet of frozen peas could work. A bandage that can be revealed is always a go-er, although bleeding blisters are a bit off putting. Try to avoid taking a bye (infectious illness is the only excuse for this and you have to come back the next week still bearing the scabs). Just slotting in an operation on your day off is also good. Extra points are given if you can manage to wound your pro.
”

Triple points for injuring pro to the extent that they can't dance, I'm assuming! And yes, stand-in pro must also be worth something.

Holly isn't doing brilliantly at SCD bingo (Robbie is the runaway leader so far), but when she does hit bingo, she changes it forever. She didn't just bring a famous friend, she brought royalty. She didn't just injure her pro, she may have put him out of the competition. If she manages to injure Brendan...

Has somebody asked if name-dropping and having ROYAL friends in the audience gains or loses points?

The dreaded "Commend you" from Alesha -- this means "Thank you for trying" ... with a subtext of...." but you were rubbish really."

Damn, I don't think we included 'being patronised by Alesha of all people' on the bingo. It must definately be included for next year along with being called a 'Ballroom Boy' by said judge.

On the same level: Len's "you came out and gave it your best go" and "people don't understand how difficult this is for the male celebrity".

And how about:

Having your size 27 feet mentioned at every opportunity as an excuse for the fact that your dancing is really just a bit cr*p.

Having your height mentioned at every opportunity - being over 6' 3" makes dancing Latin very difficult. Apparently.
