Faye was very cautious in her approach hence the numerous times she asked him about what would happen after the show.

A wise head on young shoulders, she has learned from previous experiences which her Mum and Jem fail to realise.

Faye has described herself as having been 'hurt' by the demise of previous relationships, but it is only Jem who has implied she was a devastated wreck whose pieces needed picking up by Mum and Sis.

Having seen how mature and grounded she has been since leaving the house, and the way she and Aaron were able to have long, wide-ranging conversations about their relationship even after a day of 'stropping' I did wonder whether Jem has been slightly exaggerating the extent of Faye's distress and helplessness in the past, which maybe serves Jems' purposes as it puts her very much "in charge" of her little sister's destiny.

i'm sure i read in New magazine or somewhere, maybe on the main forum out there that Fayes mum said Faye got sick a few years ago when she was trying to send her mum to the US to Jem an she got really ill and it was touch and go or something along those lines.. i wouldn't take it for gospel but it was out there.

i would assume thats part of the reason they seen to be a bit overprotective if accurate.

Bottom line is that Faye's mum should have stayed out of it until she had spoken to Faye herself.

As we know, there is loads they never showed us and that really IS crucial this year.

What she did was cruel and insensitive - how she could watch that HLs programme and think she did the right thing is beyond me.

Even if she didn't like Aaron, to see her own child break down so horribly couldn't have been easy, but when asked on BOTS if she would do it differently after seeing Faye's reaction, she said no and then some BS about not nominating her own daughter(s). Fair enough but there were 4 other people you could have

I'd love to know what she thinks of it now, given the depth of feeling from both and the fact that Faye has made her choice abundantly clear.

Couldn't give a flying **** what Jem thinks tbh

Absolutely - as for Jem. I don't think she wanted to be booed on Friday - or, she did have a wrestling match. Either way, the fact that she didn't spoil Faye and Aaron's evening was one bright spot in a dismal final.

Lets hope she actually believes what her DAUGHTER tells her!

She was wrong, I think her perception was reinforced with the way C5 made it look like Aaron was not only treating Faye badly but now Jem aswell.

Me too. I wonder if we will be shown any of the wrap party. I hope the three witches won't be there (PB, LH and Carole). I wonder if Jem will put in an appearance. Hope we get a few tweets about it.

I am glad Faye spent some time with her mother. Hopefully they have had a good long talk about things. I expect Aaron went home to see his family too. Wonder if Faye and Aaron will do any joint interviews on TV.

Just popped in to say Faye still playing a blinder, lovely girl.

Wonder if her mum's listening to her now about Aaron and other stuff in the house - or maybe accepting that Faye knows her own mind and agreeing to differ.

Regardless of whether Faye and Aaron stay together, I hope she makes plenty of cash while she can, to stash away for the future. She deserves it after what she's been through - rollercoasters anyone?

I get the impression it was always Jem who had the problem with Aaron her mum to a lesser extent.

I also hope she gets plenty of money from this, she needs direction in her life which seems to have been lacking but with Aaron by her side this will be the making of her.

I agree. She is brilliant. Shame about the edit she got- They always concentrated on the drama surrounding her, which meant a lot of people built a wrong impression of her. I am happy to not have fallen for their edits. I knew she was a great, bubbly girl and she has proven it now to the doubters. Well done her!

She has to be the nicest young woman BB has ever had, despite all the rubbish thrown at her she stuck by Aaron when all the others turned their backs on him. She is my No1 HM.
