Both individual AT threads have had the same problems of people who are fans of both apologising and excusing their behaviour on the wrong thread.

As Cornchips said on the Aaron thread, they are inextricably linked, Aaron fans on their own AT have had to have people sticking up for Faye for weeks on their thread and they have hated it.

Now that Faye's out a lot of them have changed their mind about her and I guess they want to do the same over here: defend Aaron and try to convince Faye fans that what we see isn't everything that happened.

It is completely impossible to separate Aaron from Faye now despite them both being excellent housemates!

As someone who was quite happy to campaign for Faye (despite being shot down in flames and told to keep Faye stuff out of Aaron's AT on several occasions) I have to accept that Aaron fans will do the same over here!

I do think it's fair though that whilst sticking up for Aaron it isn't right that Faye should be slated over her past actions. i accept i was guilty of this once in the Aaron AT ( over the range rover thing) and learned v quickly that that isn't acceptable in an AT!”

I agree with that! We still have a lot of Faye fans in the Aaron thread.

I had BOTS recorded for me but when i saw this thread yesterday and the main thread I expected the worse.

However when I heard Richard's call - I didnt think the drama matched up with what he said.
Obviously it is not good what he said but I think that Aaron's reaction of shaking his head and what he said as the credits role counteracted the call and would not sway those that intended to vote for him anyway.

Also if Aaron did have a game plan and did not like Faye at all, I would imagine that he would be more worried about his game plan being exposed and not brush it off so easily.

i feel for Faye- she is being so strong and loyal in the face of doubt being thrown her way. I am pretty sure she must be worried about Aaron making her look like a D**khead as this seemed to be a major worry for her in the early days.
I am proud that she seems to have learnt that her heart should lead the way mainly and not the views of her family/friends and the public. Good for her. I am really impressed with her....maybe by 35% more than when she was in the house

I think Faye was by far the best HM, and so what if the public perceive otherwise? Is Aaron being honest, or is he playing to what he thinks the public thinks? There'd be nothing daft about having a different opinion to the public's.

I don't think it's at all obvious that Aaron thinks Richard was joking.

And I don't think it would be good in any way if Aaron thought it was funny.

If that's the sort of "joke" Aaron likes, then what's to say anything Aaron has said is true rather than a sarcastic "joke"?

The same "he was joking" line was used to try to explain away Harry's comments, and no convincing reason to think Harry was just joking has emerged.

"Joking" doesn't cut it any more. The doubts cast by Richard's comments will not be dispelled so easily,

Louise "sacrificed herself" by going 1 on 1 with a housemate who had survived three evictions in a row rather than voting in such a way that she would just be one of five. My thoughts on the Aaron situation is that I tend to go by what I see rather than what other people say. What I've seen of Aaron has shown a somewhat insecure and socially awkward guy who is not good at opening up with his real feelings but nevertheless has a highly developed (if not overdeveloped) sense of morality and manners. I think he has a lot of faults in the way he treats people sometimes but, is basically well intentioned. I think he is smart, extremely funny and, at times, quite endearing and I think he has fallen for Faye far more than he is comfortable admitting to all and sundry on live TV.

I also think that Faye is well aware of all this and is not taking these things to heart anywhere near as much as people are worrying she will. She trusts her feelings.

For me, there are still a lot of mysteries surrounding Aaron but nothing so bad that I'm not willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I don't think that's credible as a "sacrifice".

And it's not at all clear that her chances were better against 5 people. Indeed, I think either she or Tom would have gone.

I just looked again at the thread about it, and I didn't see any such consensus or any sold reason to think it was from Aaron's step father (or from his mother). And the message didn't really address the Richard issue anyway.

What's happened to the brother? Is he not on Twitter or Facebook at some known place? I'd like to see something from someone who knows Aaron and Richard that deals with whatever TF Richard was up to,

Also as a fan of both I was sooooo peed off when some Aaron fans were deciding that Aaron would be better off without Faye, saying he'd be happier, have more fun, realise she was using him etc! the vast majority of Aaron fans did vote for her or support her(thinking she'd be safe), but i was really offended by the ones who were professing to know what was better for Aaron even though he as good as begged his fans to vote for her on twitter when he said "I don't want to wake up another day without you"

So it would be a bit presumptious of us to now do the same thing when Faye seems to be steadfast!

by all means if you don't like Aaron or have a different fave then vote for them, but I'd say Faye still supports him and if you are voting with Faye then I'd say until she says otherwise she is supporting Aaron!

Anyway we'll find out on BBOTS won't we? xx

I don't think that shows Louise had more fans than Faye.

In a 1-on-1 vote especially, every possible reason for voting one way rather than another can be involved, and what's counts id votes, not the number of people voting.

By your logic (and the transitivity of "more fans"), Louise not only had more fans that Faye; she had more fans that Harry or any member of the wolf pack including Jay. Now, maybe that's true. Maybe Louise will even be the surprise winner of bb12. But I don't think anything very definite has been show by the one vote Louise faced.
