The title isn't confirmed, but it's apparently due to premiere on Monday...

Rumoured producers are Erick Morrilo or Michael Woods...

She's been leaving several clues though...including someone who tweeted a pic of her birthday cake which was in the shape of an elephant, she's said that the single is about an animal, and more recently she was spotted wearing an elephant necklace during an interview...

I thought it was called 1000 Clocks or something along those lines?
Anyway, I'm really excited to hear it.

Well... I'm already intrigued as to what the song will sound like - and the single title just builds that up even more.

I think it's a pretty interesting title for a single ... just hope the song itself is as good as the title.

It's a very daring title. It's odd at first, but after awhile it actually feels like a cool and orginal title.

Every title is so generic and safe these days. Nobody wants to sound too different or "out there" (probably why Coldplay come up with loony titles like Mylo Xyloto. Just to shake things up a bit). Alex is fortunate she didn't release All Night Long this year. Who would be able to tell it apart from All About Tonight (Pixie) or All Fired Up (The Satudays).

A title like Elephant is (possibly) a stament of intent that she isn't going to just be blending in with the crowd. As long as the song is properly up to snuff, I think the title will be considered a masterstroke.

The title Elephant gives me a feeling that could sound similar to the sounds of Beyonce's Run The World.

Elephant titles seem to be popular at the moment Cage the Elephant by Aberdeen is out on the 19th Oct and White Elephant by Ladytron is out now.
There has been no official confirmation from Alex so who knows what the song will be called.

Interesting title for what will inevitably be another generic club stomper.

How cool would it be if she actually wrote a song about an elephant though? Something alone the lines of:

`Oh Mr Elephant, your trunk so long and grand
I wanna slide down it
and crash head first into the sand'

No 1 for sure,

It not a song shes written, its a cover of this with Pitbull and lil Wayne so its dance and R&B to bring it into the 21st century

Thats sounds more like a poem than a No 1 song but as long as the actual song is strong and is as good as All Night Long it should go to No 1.

I am really hoping that she won't use the sex sells method! If I see her rubbing the elephant trunk, I'm going to bash her!

What about if she goes for the tusks instead?

Terrible title for a song. I really don't know how anyone would take it seriously.

Mind you, the implication is too obvious.Kelly Rowland used an elephant truck for her video and she wrapped it around her and looked so happy. The trunk was a BIG BIG BIG metaphor for sure.Besides, I've already pointed out that if she rubs the trunk, I'll trip, so I do trust you. We're on the same page

Yes, but the word Umbrella was used a lot in the song, I really can't see her using the word Elephant a lot?

Stomp, stomp, I'm an Elephant
Gunna bring the haters to their knees
Stomp, stomp, I'm an Elephant
Gunna smash this club down.

It... works?

Oh gawd, this is worse...

Oh boy, you're an Elephant,
Dat thing gunna make me pant.

When I heard the title, I had NO idea what it could possibly be about.

This post has helped me a lot.Hopefully Alex doesn't go down this route.
