maybe she was just inspired by some elephant she fell in love with in africa when she went there for charity ..maybe its something to do with that ...anyway you cant really guess if elephant will sound silly untill the actual song comes out etc etc ..you may be suprised ..i doubt the song will be about elephants ..maybe the song has a tribal sound

I don't see why we're all debating over the lyrical content of the song - yes if it's called Elephant good for her,I think it's a very daring and unique title compared to the numerous up-tempo/club songs we've heard in the past year. We should all reserve judgement for when we've heard the song .

I have an uneasy feeling that this is going to be a generic club dance taio flo rida style pop record using the word 'elephant' as a really pointless and terrible metaphor.

Its a memorable title, hopefully the song will be better than her previous single choices which were all kinda generic ans safe imo.

I am eager to see the sound she is gonna go into. I hope she doesn't do a predictable dance album. I would love for her to a solid R&B album. We need more of R&B to come back. Only Beyonce is really flying the flag for R&B.

Not an Alexandra Burke fan but I'm anticipating her 2nd album. I think Alexandra has an amazing voice but sadly her label have let her down on the debut album. I felt like they might have pushed Alexandra into more uptempo music so they had a british Beyonce, because they already had the british Mariah with Leona.

She needs really edgy and unique songs to match those vocals. She's a good performer, and has an amazing voice so there's huge potential. She's signed to a new record label too, so hopefully they've seen Alexandra for the talent she is and given her the best they possibly could.

I'm so constantly let down by Alexandra Burke's music, really thought she might have been good after winning the X Factor and the way they pushed her as a British Beyonce throughout the competition, but her album was just crappy Essex pop, with a bit of black attitude mixed in. No soul or real RnB which is a shame because she has the voice to pull it off, and she can sing and dance at the same time. Anyway, I hope the fact that she has a lot more creative input with this album should mean that the uptempos are a lot better in terms of the sound and hopefully lyrically this will be better. I'm gonna give it a chance seeing as Cowell was very much behind her last effort and he has absolutely no music taste whatsoever.

I'm a big fan of her, saw her tour and she was great. I liked the lsat album but it could've been a lot better and I don't tend to play it as much as I have with other albums I've loved. I hope she does have some proper R&B songs on there as her voice would be perfect for it. Good mix of dance and R&B stuff would be cool.
