If they really wanted to they could implement it at any time. A web feed could be up and running by Tuesday at least.

But if BB makes it that far and is still successful enough for them will they even care about it? C5 can play hardball as much as Endemol.

i would like to see livefeed 24/7 for the normal series as i did prefer them over the celeb ones !

this series is damned now no point of them doing anything too late for it but the next series of normal bb perhaps they could do things right! we can but hope

It may require a contract renegotiation though and that wouldn't take place mid show.

I read Jamie's tweet as "Yes we know you like the Feed but it's not happening so just call it a day will ya"

I can see them riding the current contract out as it's already money spent.
Will they renew after that? I have no idea but i do think that's when the next realistic Live Feed talks will take place.
I honestly hope I'm really wrong though.

The thing is, we now know that the can't provide feed excuse is crap.

They were able to do it in CBB this year - just five months ago. It got high ratings. Then, they took it away for the main series. Pathetic!

The day people stop moaning about the lack of 24/7 streaming would be the day to cancel the show.channel 5 should think themselves lucky that people are still interested in big brother after what they've done to it

exactly they should be glad it does have such loyal fans that show an interest even after they have done everything to destroy it !

More rows occurring in the house tonight... we don't know what has happened. Twitter is useless.

tis annoying knowing you cant see it may well be something and nothing but it could be something significant that would help a fan decide who they were going to evict .

i know i sound like a broken record but there is no point of bb without livefeed .

Well the something it isn't is that it isn't sleeping! Which was just one of the many excuse as to why we didn't need a Live Feed!

If your life is so great why do you have the time to criticise others on an internet forum at this time of the morning?

I am amazed there is anyone who can even follow BB on C5
with the appalling twitter/facebook clips pictures that make little
sense of goings on in the house

The fact is that some are here maybe out of habit, some just clutching at any BB at all

Many it seems are not as happy as they were about this set up which may reflect in the ratings

C5 have another 2 years of this, well i think they may struggle to get through this year atm

So much anger is out there and we haven't even had 1 week of this series.

1.37am: Lights out in the bedroom but the earlier argument's still keeping Lauren, Adam, Lydia and Becky talking in the garden. #bbuk

once again no tweets after this one last night
an argument is going on in the house and twitter/facebook is the only way
to update viewers whats going on but the person doing the updates needs their sleep
I was under the impression that BB was being filmed 24/7 so why are the updates not 24/7
and C5 wonder why we are not happy with their live feed replacement

Is it truthful (twitter) - I don't like the idea that there is only one interpretation of events. Different people have different takes on what has happened - at least with WHATM you could get a set of different view.

i'm amazed that channel 5 would try so hard to get rid of the big brother audience
there are doing a good job of it so far

i've not seen any of this series but judging by what i've read on this forum and elsewhere, channel 5 & endemol are showing total disregard for fans of big brother

if the ratings were to slide substantially then let's see how smug they are then
if that were to happen,i won't be smug,i'd be annoyed as i am now

WE just find it very sad that people feel the need to justify the need for the coverage. As posted in the other thread.
a feed has never been perfect but its better than not having the service at all.

As for Mr East wow didnt take him long to run out of material.he went for the Nuclear option within four days of the new BOTS return. To make a statement of 'the live feed is boring' is just staggering to say the least. If the live feed is boring the footage being used in the highlight show would also be boring? or is that why they get Creative with it...

Dreadful ratings for such a big twist etc
and less than a week into this series too.

yep Ofc it will be seen as looking on the downside..
there was no other way to see this twist unfold had the feed been active or even that hour after viewers would have seen the fallout reaction to the eviction/new HM.

Would it have dropped sub 1 million not for the twist?
