To be fair that is pretty much what you got from the BB10 feed.

The answer lies in a net feed rather than TV feed.

Its fine to have a few hours a night TV LF but realistically it needs to be a net feed rather than the dross of BB10 LF.

Fords problem is he took such a strong stance with little room to manouvre..my bet is if Ford goes the feed will return.

Its needed badly in this series because of the constant late into the night stuff and I want to see if its true Sara is in bed for much of the day and if so why hasint BB gotten tough with her.

as no one high up at channel 5 has made any comments regarding the lack of 24/7 streaming since then,it's not surprising that his comments get a mention now & then,at least it's a fact that can't be argued against
whether he meant it or not is irrelevant ,he has to stand by what he says like anyone else

I wouldn't say he was a hate figure but it came across as a bit short sighted when he implied that the live feed was rubbish and just people sleeping (it was exactly that way under ch 4) yet it was in new hands and didn't have to be produced in the same way.
It "appeared" that this had not occurred to him, so it is no wonder that eyebrows were raised.

Why would he go? He's very well respected in the industry and doing a great job at 5.

I don't much understand why he's a hate figure either. I thought it was interesting to hear what he had to say and liked that he tried to explain the reasons for the move. If he hadn't done this there'd have been criticism as well, so it seems he can't win unless he tells people what they want to hear.

If channel will not give BB fans 24/7 live feed they should at least give us 24 hours on eviction night say from 6am to 6am the next day. I really miss watching the nominees getting ready HMs having dinner.. WE NEED LIVE FEED!!!! channel 5

Yes thats how we feel here.
Jeff fords wording was just all wrong.C5 still doing it wrong those emails are still going on saying keep an eye when its been seen now first month theres nothing.People are asking them about that and its going ignored.

Sadly for some its easier to find fault with us rather than a company that so far is showing all the signs of being totally out of its depth in terms of dealing with viewer feedback.

Well let me ask you this seeing as you thought what he said was interesting..do you think the live feed was boring and all about watching people sleep? honest answer would have to be no because so many things sprung up during live feed,so basically hes either a liar covering his arse with fake reasons for ditching the feed OR he has never watched the feed and rather stupidly tried to stereotype the viewers.

Well respected..by who exactly?
As for why would he leave just look at his CV hes moved around here there and everywhere.
I wonder why he never felt the urge to mention to channel 4 about the live feed being so boring and pointless?

C4 axed the show not really having a good idea to replace thats showing something very suspect in the planning there.Yet In his now infamous 'moved on speech' he used details and data from C4.

He wouldnt stand there and tell people hes taken advice on a bank account from Fred Goodwin but C4 is fine when its basically accepted now when they axed BB they didnt have a plan of action utterly insane from a Nationwide TV network.
C4 have had attempts at creating new reality shows such as Seven Days and Home for the Holidays but they both flopped and were poorly thought out imo.
i think C4 really do want to re-capture that reality show platform again but have yet to find anything that works

When they axed BB they thought Seven Days would be the summer success but it was over within seven days ironically

My feeling is that C4 may well surprise us in the very near future.
Why Jeff Ford would use old data about demographics and ratings taken the similar lines of BB10 on C4 is a mystery to me

there is but jeff ford doesn't reply ,jeff ford probably doesn't even read any emails

i'm sure channel 5 are fully aware of the reaction to cutting the 24/7 live feed

the viewers just aren't fully aware of the reason(s) why jeff ford thinks that viewers have moved on from watching the big brother 24/7 live streaming

very good question.
seeing as C4 axed the show and been basically adrift since makes you wonder what the hell was going on there and now C5 following the example set by them.
Its something that doesnt get mentioned a lot.If Richard desmond wasnt aware of C4's shortcomings why in the daily star article did they say everything fans knew was wrong with the show would be fixed?

We have been lead a merrydance since this deal was signed with endemol just sitting back glad that Bigbrother has a new home to hell with the quality or treatment of the longterm fanbase.

So many questions and so little answers so far from C5
its their silence that has annoyed so many of us
and their ignorance of what makes BB a great show as opposed to an average reality soap at best

livefeed online is the best imo and we have had no sensible answers from C5 as to why there is no live feed

I only hope that Endemol have a plan B for when C5 axe the show because i can't see many of the loyal fans sticking around for the fallout

Live Feed for the hard core BB fans is essential. I think the loss of LF has not only affected how viewers see individuals but also it affects the forums. Back in the day of LF, this forum was extremely busy and very fast, now it is much slower and less busy. News that is flowing 24/7 creates a lot of opinion and that is what I see is lacking most.

Interestingly Jamie on BBBOTS took a phone call on LF and he said he would like to see it back too...so it's not just us, there are supporters within the BB camp - I do hope Channel 5 listen PLEASE LISTEN ....BRING LIVE FEED BACK....or at the very least charge us for live streaming on the net!!

I don't understand any of it, the online feed was a good investment for bosses and fans, they made the money and we got our fix of live footage...

i believe its all about control of events and stories
using free media such as twitter/facebook to tell stories
of what they want you to know/see
it is not a true reflection of the hm's at all
BB is nothing more than a reality soap

Seriously do you have no faults or problems with how channel 5 have gone about presenting big brother and the way in which they have treated fans of big brother who just want some live feed, which is a fundamental part of big brother?

We are not supposed to, they just want our money but, don't want to earn it. I will not vote, no live feed and allowing nomination discussion. How can we vote when we just see 40 minutes out of 24?
