It's a forum where people express their opinions. It would be the dullest forum on the planet if we all agreed on everything. |

I think normal BB is going to be in serious ratings trouble within a month..I cannot believe the stupidity of Channel 5 that they wont even offer a few hours of live feed to fans...especially with the fantastic ratings the feed got for CBB....it actually beggars belief!!
How anyone related to that decision can call themselves professionals is beyond me...any fool can tell how precious, necessary and wanted the live feed is. |

I consider most of BB to be good right now, and generally very respectful of BB's core values. The only negatives for me are: Brian, negative crowds on eviction nights and maybe lack of more live streaming on C5/5*. Everything else I like. |

Desmonds got a proven track record of axing shows without a 2nd thought.the only good thing it finally got Josie Gibson off TV.

The things you listed (where they spend money) are things that ANY broadcaster would have to spend. Nothing special in what C5 have done there. They have cut corners left, right and centre. I am flabbergasted how you always find an excuse or an answer for every little thing C5 does. Deep down I think you must know they are a third rate broadcaster, but for some unknown reason you always defend them (blindly IMO) |

Yet they never ever answer questions about Channel 5's disgusting behaviour towards viewers and the mass banning on their facebook page and their pretending no one posted one comment about the live feed. The fact that they avoid answering those sorts of posts at all costs shows that they are not here to state an opinion but are here just to negate and damage limit for Channel 5. They can't answer for Channel 5's disgusting treatment of viewer so they avoid those posts altogether. |

Just been talking to someone from Endemol who 'doesn't know' if there will be Live Feed for the first few weeks of BB. I'm taking that as 'no' tbh.

The production values from a technical point-of-view have been excellent since it came to C5. So it's very difficult to fathom how one could describe it as cheap? Must be strawclutching Friday. Quote:

ok here's something more constructive anyone who feels strongly about the livefeed should put your feelings down on a letter and address to Jeff ford at the following address
http://about.channel5.com/customer-s...ontact-details lets take it to the top man its worth a try and a good way of venting all your points down and putting it to him. you may not get a reply but you will feel better for doing it. Livefeeders are fans too and our voices need to be heard, and who knows maybe just maybe someone will listen. ![]()

He's also on Twitter you know. But his profile is private and he never tweets so I dunno if he even looks at it.

Still, I bet anything emailed to him relating to live feed is now filtered into the spam folder. He presumably had this last year too.

in the months before channel 5 confirmed the purchase of big brother ,it was possible to have a reasonable exchange of views with people high up in the company that's no longer the case a total lockdown at channel 5 these days |

C4 listened to the viewers? Hmm, it's debatable. Personally I think live feed was a token gesture for the last series and had it not been the last series I don't think it would have been returned. Professional? Their handling of the various controversies that hit the show wasn't. Scheduling an adult show at 8pm wasn't, etc etc. I'm guessing they were flooded with e-mails and had to act accordingly. Twitter might be a better place to look but not many of the senior people are on there. |

No, but the hours devoted to it were cut to such an extent that by the end you were mostly left with sleeping housemates.
