I know, and then he was a bit TOO happy when he got Holly! Very funny!

I love Flavia so it would have pref to me if she had got Harry instead but, that's just the way things go with the Strictly pairings sometimes and because I would like to see how well Harry can do that (sort of by default) means that I want Aliona to do well also. I actually think her choreography is alright most of the time, it's obv just abit different at times, lol.

I wanted Harry to stick with Ola, even if it had been perceived as a bit unfair them dancing together before.

Er - but Artem 'got involved' with his partner last year, and that 'Will they, won't they?' narrative was milked by the producers.

Flavia got involved with Matt in Series 5 - and, while not hyped up in the same way, it became public knowledge and was very explcitly referred to by Tess.

So I think you'll find the producers positively want some sort of romance to develop between some celebs and pro's. It generates publicity for the show and gets more people watching.

I suspect that it is far more likely that Flavia (and Vincent) are viewed by the new production team as 'old Strictly' and are therefore given less likely contenders ...

Personally I don't like Aliona. She comes across as very selfish and is happy to make herself look good at the expense of her partner. I think she was lucky last year as Matt was good and popular. Harry being in McFly will get the teen vote if they aren't all watching X-factor but I still can't see him being a contender with Aliona.
