I was quite taken aback about the amount of energy Anita showed in the celeb dance tonight. Also, she seems to have innate dancing ability, I think its easy to spot.

Does anyone think she could be a bit of a Pamela Stephenson??

Maybe, but a lot more likeable

I think Anita and Edwina showed a lot more life than most of us were expecting

After the mammoth disappointment of Felicity last year, I'm not going to let myself get carried away!

But a part of me really hopes Anita surprises people and does well. I like her and Robin a lot.

Robin is one of my favourite pros so I hope they do well.

I'm holding out hope that Anita will be this years Pamela! I really like her so far and I think Robin is a really great partner for her - he was so lovely with Patsy and building her confidence last year.

This will show my age and take some people back, but at one point when I saw Anita dancing, it felt like I was watch Seaside Special from years ago and Anita was one of the dancers from the show! She was really going for it and looking good too!

I too am hoping they do well.

I can't tell how naturally gifted she is but she seems very fit, energetic and 'up for it.'

Robin is a great partner for her because he is kind and gentle and will give her tons of confidence. Thinking about it, it will probably be a piece of cake for him this year after coping with the high maintenance (but endearing) Patsy.

They won't be a high drama couple but they won't be boring.

She is ready to 'fall in love with dance' and I think the viewers will enjoy that and cheer her on.

I loved how Robin reacted to their pairing.

He seems a true gentlemen and I loved his partnership with Patsy so I'm hoing he does extremely well with the Dob!

Robin is my favourite pro, and I have a feeling that they are going to do very well together. They both looked genuinely pleased to be partnerered.

I think she will be a dark horse. I like her and hope she does well. I didn't rate Robin's choreography at all last year, so I'll be interested to see what he comes up with this year.

During the group dance Anita was really enjoying herself, I thought. I like her, and I thought she showed some skills

Which Queen song will they have her dancing to first??

Anita really shone in the group number- think she could surprise us.

I would say she has the Cherie vibe but I feel she has more personality than la Lunghi and so may be able to carry off the latin dances with more aplomb.

I do quite like her, but the fake luvvie voice is a bit annoying.

I thought she was excellent in the group dance and like others I really like Robin so am happy with the pairing.

Pamela went very close last year, so if Anita is up to her standard then we could easily have the 1st 'oldie' winner as I think she'll be much more widely liked than Pamela.

Robin is one of those pros who makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, he seems such a sweet guy. I remember how good he was with Patsy last year, I'm sure he'll be great with Anita.

Also I don't think any of the younger contestants will be as good as Kara and Matt.

So the door could be open for a different type of winner.

So far my main ones to watch are Anita, Lulu and Russell - all more mature contestants - with Anita being a lot more likeable than Lulu. I think Holly and Jason could also be good but the other three have the edge at the moment. Of course, I could easily change my mind once the series really starts.

Anita surprised me. She was much better than I thought she would be. She seems a lovely lady too.

Strange but true I said the same thing to someone. Is Anita the Pamela of this year. She seems to have the moves. Spotted Brian in the audience saying Good when her partner was announced.

Funny enough I think that that voice/accent is closer to her real one, it's just that she's better known speaking as Angie. Similar to Billie Piper who's much more well-spoken in real life than many of her characters.
