I think she showed the greatest confidence and ability of all the female celebs in the group dance. I like her and I hope she does well. Strangely, the male celeb who did the same was Russell. I know he is small and chubby, but he does seem to have a sense of rhythm.

I can see her being another Pamela Stephenson, just replace 'My husband Billy', with 'My husband Brian'.

I think Anita seems lovely and looked pretty good when dancing - I hope she does well. Robin is so lovely I am pleased she got him.

I don't think it is fake. She has always been gently spoken. Did you expect her to sound like her EE character? The woman trained at a prestigious drama school and I'm sure that would have knocked the edges off any accent, so that she graduated speaking 'proper'!

I've just watched last night's show on Iplayer.

I was really impressed with Anita & Robyn.
Along with them I'm backing Russell & Flavia and Chelsee and Pasha.

Pasha is quite yummy too!

She was definitely one of the celebs we saw the most of in the group dance as she was at the front for most of it. Think she may need to tame the inane grin though.

Anita is just sooooooooooooo very pleased to be on the show. She will work & try hard and love every last minute of it.

Grin or no grin - she is the spirit of Strictly.

Come on Anita & Robyn!

No, but she speaks very slowly and deliberately. That definitely isn't her real voice.

... definitely think she put in a great performance in the group dance ... and presumably the reason she was at the front for lots of it was because the choreographer put her there deliberatly ... Anita & Russell are doing it for the older ones, hope they both continue to shine!

No worries, she probably will be. It usually gets to the quarter finals before people start voting on dancing ability rather than the perceived merits of the TV programme they associate the celebs with.

she really suprised me i love how shes so pleased to be on the show and is obviously very excited. Edwina looked really excited aswell. Hopefully people will see a warmer side to her too. I hope they both do well Always horrible seeing someone go early when they are clearly so excited and having a good time

agree with stargazer.
Anita has longed to take part for a very long time. Whether she gets very far or not, she's going to be learning every little thing she can, and I think with that attitude, rather than focusing on how difficult it all is, or how time-consuming, or how many blisters she has, she's just going to go out all guns blazing and has done already.

I met Anita about a 18 months ago at the stage door after she appeared in 'Calender Girls' in the West End. She spoke exactly like that so I don't think its put on. I spent about 10 minutes with her and her friend because every time her friend tried to take a pic of us, my camera kept on messing up. Despite this, Anita was an absolute sweetheart and was happy to pose until we got it right. The only hint of "Angie" I did get from her was her filthy laugh lol!!!!

Really hoping she does well with Robin!
