Carol was one hot rock chick...
bet the T'Pau gigs back in the 80's
were pretty awesome....

Carol and T'Pau could have ruled the world,
but it all kind of fizzled out !!!
As Ian Dury might have said....
wot a waste !

The Rewind Festival seems like a big deal now
August 19th-21st 2011, Henley-on-Thames,
why did nt they call it the 80s Festival ? as its all about the 80s acts .

Got to say that festival sounds a lot more interesting than the "Glastonbury -in -the- mud " Festival !
It looks like Henley is the permanent venue now too.

carol decker.... funny, i never thought of her as a 'rock chic', just a pop star.. i suppose by todays standards she could be seen that way!

yeah, had a good voice, pity they disappeared off the scene..

Looks like the 80s was the last gasp of pop music.. there were some good acts around...
T pau
Nik Kershaw
Belinda Carlisle
ABC
Heaven 17
Human League
Pet Shop Boys
Howard Jones
Billy Idol
Duran Duran

In the 90s it all fizzled out and manufactured bands took over...
Spice Girls.... Atomic Kitten..... Girls Aloud ....
and bands began doing endless cover versions of 60s and 70s hits

the game was up.... it was all over!
Simon Cowell and his minions had taken over ......
