Holly's disparaging remarks about British People

Interesting that Holly has signed up for a show where she is going to be judged by the British public, considering that those are the very people she once launched a scathing attack on, making some rather nasty and generalising remarks about how we're 'bitter and twisted' and wishing a nasty dose of karma onto us (in what form, I don't know).

http://news.sky.com/home/article/12925596

She's made other comments about us over the years, such as 'English girls are tarts'.

Is that same karma going to come back and bite her on the posterior now that she needs the GBP's votes?

The fact that she made those comments 8 YEARS ago kind of says it all.

Oh please!

She has English parents and chose to live here for a while!

Those comments were eight years ago, she's young and pretty and if she doesn't say anything like that on screen who on earth is going to remember unless they go out of their way to find something like that?

Here's the amount of relevance that story has to anything - " "

Kara.... is that you?

Now this is one I had on my bingo card! Dig up something "nasty" from the past of a contestant with a healthy dose of xenophobia thrown into the mix. Ticks two boxes on the bingo!

I dont think she will have a connection with the audience.
I think again like Alex Jones she so up herself, the fans may well vote for her dancing partner Artem rather than her but if she cant dance she will be out.

I would like Jase to win or Robbie Savage.

Damn! Caught me out!

Seriously though, regardless of when they were made people do still remember this? Certainly didn't have to dig it up. Just interested to know whether her opinions have changed now.

I do hope Robbie's good. Ola's my fave pro.

My husband says horrible things about British people quite often. If I don't hold it against him I doubt I'm going to care what Holly said years and years ago

You must have spent hours trying to dig up whatever you could about her. Old newspaper whinges? 8 years out of date to be exact. Gosh, what determination!

Oddly enough she's gone down really well with women, owing to the fact that she has a sense of humour and they know what 'tongue in cheek' means.

Good luck with the crusade johno

HOLLY ROCKS!

Can't say I blame her.

Who needs sunshine and clean beaches and a job? I mean really - when you have all this wind and rain and a recession too

I hate it here sometimes too and I'm sodding British....

... with a boyf in the British Army, if anyone wants to even think about calling me unpatriotic. Part of being British is hating here. That's why we all drink so much.

I didn't even know about it the first time round, let alone remember it from 8 years ago! I'm guessing no-one else on here remembered it either until you brought it up.
