An article from the NOTW from 8 years ago when the girl was just out of her teens - that's scraping the bottom of the barrel for sure.

I have to say that until I saw the launch show yesterday I knew nothing about Holly Valance. Not being a teenage boy or FHM reader.

Good luck with the crusade johno

the one thing i remember about Holly is her slagging the UK off, so im sure other people can remember it too. but as people have said it was 8 years ago though saying something bad will happen to us is a little distasteful. im not keen on her but thats a personal thing and im sure getting to know her better on this programme will hopefully change my opinion

Yup, I recognise a sense of humour when I hear one. Loved the bit about not being able to fit into her old school uniform as well. She has already been criticised elsewhere by somebody accusing her of smarming up to Brucie when she said she'd like to be partnered with him, as they conveniently didn't hear her follow-up 'not'. I like the girl, even though (or perhaps because) I'd never heard of her before.

Exactly, what was she hoping for? Natural disaster, terrorist attack? Or did she not mean collectively? Hmmm..

Jesus I don't think you can hold something against her from EIGHT years ago, she was only twenty we all say and do stupid things when we are young, she pretty much lives here now and I'm sure her boyfriends British so I'm sure she has changed her opinion slightly.

We all know words can be taken out of context and holly has a very dry sense of humour , if it came from the notw then I would take the quote with a small islands worth of salt.

Frankly I find it risible that any News International outlet has got the balls to rave about what a 20 year-old girl said 8 years ago when their own contempt for the GBP demonstrated recently leaves her few words firmly in the shade

Let me know if she takes to hacking the phones of dead British soldiers or missing children and then I might take some notice, but until then I'm going to vote for her every time I see a negative article about her in the Murdoch press

<...Applause!>

Just for info. Holly is a keen supporter of HfH. I'm not saying that makes her saint, but I think it's what's known as a 'combat indicator' that she doesn't have terrorist sympathies.

Do people realise the article is dated 2003?

Oh alright, come on. I don't really believe she's a terrorist.

Just asking, what does one wish on a nation collectively? Maybe she just wanted us all to bump into a lamp post, or tread in dog poo, who knows.

Well known Aussie pastime disparaging Poms. Then who can blame them. They have space to move, better weather and unique wildlife.

A few harsh words as a teenager - rather easier to forgive than getting drunk and beating a black woman's face to pulp (Cheryl Tweedy).

Bingo! I claim my prize because I had 'Evil Holly will try to seduce Artem despite him being in a relationship and her already having a billionaire boyfriend' .
