I thought that the trick they played on Edwina was really cruel and humiliating, having her go up to Artem and then having her stood there like a spare part. It was embarrassing for her.

I can't stand the woman. They can do it to her every week and I wouldn't care.

I'm no fan of Edwina, but I didn't like that bit. I don't know if they really find out earlier in the day who their partner will be and everything was for show, but if not then I thought that was a bit cruel.

That and Craig's comments about Russell and Flavia were the low points in what was otherwise a fantastic show.

I am no fan of Edwinas and don't think I'll take to her on the programme, but it was an unforivable thing to do to anyone. She must have felt dreadful and it was embarrassing for both her and Artem.Thoroughly bad show.Craig was also unkind, which is out of character for him. I hope lessons have been learned.

I thought it was a bit mean too. Must say from Artem thinking he would partner Edwina to getting Holly Vallance though! Bet he was relieved.

I wouldn't worry about her - she's got a hide like a rhinoceros.

I think the meaner trick is inflicting her on us, tbh.

It must have felt pretty uncomfortable for Anton and Vincent as well. They were left until the end last year, too.

I think Anton ought to be delighted he's still there, no matter who he gets.
He's easily the worst professional dancer in it. And how the hell old is he anyway? He could be that new lad's Dad, fer gawd's sake.

Agree with every single word. What a load of nonsense to make James and Artem stand one step ahead only to put Artem back in the row. What was all that about!?

One highlight for me was how brilliant Robin was when he greeted his partner - boy, was he pleased (probably also not to get Edwina..)

Leave him alone - Anton is the best part of SCD, never fails in the entertainment stakes.

I like Edwina, I liked her on Hells' Kitchen, she is very opinionated, but I think that is what Politicians must be, and some don't agree with her views, but I like her nonetheless, she doesn't seem to be a bad person. I felt it was cruel to do that to her, and I hope she does well on the show.

Well, I would have thought having a cheap affair with a married man and further humiliating his wife by telling the world about it for your own self-promotion was a step on the way to being a not-very-good person, at the least.

You immediately look to the wife and say she did it to humiliate his wife Really, thats why you think she did it! They are grown adults and that was a choice they made, to have an affair, which I think you'd agree happens TOO much these days. I'm not saying she hasn't done wrong in her life, hell haven't we all, but she seems fine in my opinion on the show, and thats that.

Craig's been a poisonous piece of venom on every series. Why would this one be any different?

She must have upset one of the team. It comes naturally to her.

Wouldn't it be great if Edwina stood there with Artem and insisted this is my partner I don't care what you lot have lined up for me I want Artem.

Of course it would spoil Bruce's nasty rehearsed joke about Kara.

I didn't suggest she had an affair with the purpose of humiliating Norma Major and I'm a bit offended that you would suggest I'm that stupid. Affairs happen, but it's not as if she was desperately in love with the bloke, that's why I called it 'cheap'.

And publishing a private story to make a few quid, knowing that it will hurt quite a few people... that's the killer blow, for me. I think that's pretty despicable.

I've seen a lot worse, in my business, and so I expect everyone has something they'd best like to keep a secret. Edwina is no worse than many others in this case. She let the cat out of the bag, and for me it doesn't affect how she is being percieved by me on the show, kay? Not a despicable person, if she is for doing that, then so is half of the damned world!

What you mean Edwina who humiliated her cuckolded husband and Norma Major very publicly by revealing her affair John Major just to sell her book. Oh boo hoo hoo. She even went on about the affair on celebrity Come Dine With Me. She is a horrible woman.

We are entitled to our opinions, that is why I gave mine, but was told by someone else that this was their opinion and that was it, well guess what, I like her so boo hoo hoo to you, you cheeky person. I don't mind Edwina, and that is that. Give it a damn rest. There is a lot worse going on in the world, and that was 10 years ago, you can say the same for Holly Valance who went on a tirade against the British public and published that in the press etc. but I like her too, so calm your farm. Edwina made a mistake, but she is a human, and we all make mistakes

My comments were a general response to the thread. If they had been directed at you I would have quoted your post. So I suggest you "calm your farm" what ever that means

Apologies, but all the same, I like her and that is my opinion as everyone is allowed to have

Yes and if you express an opinion on a discussion forum you should be prepared for the fact that people will disagree with you.
