Did you blub when Ben Affleck proposed - I cried like a baby - and then turned over and watched it all over again in the + channel - and blubbed yet again

What a sap lol
Hi, on quick break. I didn't cry actually & I'm normally proper winger at sad movies.......maybe jjj has hardened me to fictional tv romances!!
And I always knew you were a big softee!

Afternoon Peeps

Just got back from visiting Grumpy Drawers. All being well, and with no upsets in between, looks likely he will be home on Wednesday afternoon - I have an opticians appointment at 2.30pm on Wednesday so it will be later around tea time.

Hope everyone is having a lovely Monday

Afternoon everyone.

So much for my weekend. I ended up having to go in to the shop on Saturday aswell as the new manager couldn't be there (son was starting university). Was working with a volunteer I hadn't been with before and he was about as helpful as a chocolate teapot. I asked him if he could hoover the shop. He MIMED hoovering for about 5 seconds and then just didn't do it at all. I asked if he could put out the clothes I'd cubed, tagged and priced. He put out about 6 of them and just left the rest. I ended up putting them all out myself. In the end I let him go an hour early and got more done with him gone!

It's been a long week for me and my brain is frazzled. I'd like to post about things John and Josie related - infact I've even got a teeny bee in my bonnet on a couple of things carrying over from last week - but I just need to have a proper chill out before I can function properly and make it coherent.

It'll probably be totally irrelevent by the time I get round to it, though.

Wendy, so pleased that GD is on his way home soon. And I read your report about the wedding, sounds perfect. I would love to go to Vegas, maybe one day.

Just in from work & managed to catch up in 5 mins. Oh well, will go and take a look at BB thread and see if it can get me interested in this years programme - I've watched a couple of times but I'm just not feeling it at all. Don't know if it's because the housemates are all a bit ??? or if last year's BB has ruined all future series for me - or more specifically, John and Josie cos nothing can beat them

Afternoon

Yes it's good news , my work will then begin.

Las Vegas is what it says on the label.... their leccy bill must be astronomical . I should have done a 5 mile walk every day before I went, my legs ached in places I didn't know existed from all the walking. One hotel and you walk for miles and miles and miles. All have shopping forum's in, the better the hotel, the more up market the shops. The three best hotels for me, The Bellagio (h'obviously ), Caesars Palace and The Paris... The Mirage and Venetian were also mahoosively brilliant but up one far end of the strip and the MGM and Excalabur also but right up the far end but the other way.... Too far to walk for more central hotels, shows, restaurants etc. The Beatles Love Cirque de Soleil was the best, h'absolutely outstanding, well worth seeing, shame about the rain when we went to the Grand Canyon and next time, I'd hold my breath and get on that fluffin helicopter With the wedding we saw another side of Vegas, more intimate, more private and then going up the Eifel Tower absolutely stunning scenery.... but then a few days later went up the Stratosphere, much much higher, was swaying from side to side just looking out of the angled windows..... and I hadn't had a tipple honest
