The subtitles are funny, I agree - and very distracting. I'm so fascinated by them at times and how inaccurate they are I forget to 'listen'. I can't understand though how they are allowed to go out like that...often big chunks missed out too. Really not worthwhile having on (except for a giggle!). I assume they're using some form of pallantype - phonetics to produce them but wouldn't it be possible for an edit and polish before the programme goes live....? Can't be that difficult. I feel sorry for anyone who really relies on them.

This is how they're done. Given the fast turnarounds for BB this is the best you're going to get in terms of subtitles. |
