I wonder how long each of these songs was at no 2? I think the Saturdays' examples for just 1 week each.

I ask because there have been some long-running no 2s, perhaps most notably Right Said Fred with I'm Too Sexy, which was no 2 for 6 weeks. It's an old joke to ask whether Bryan Adams is still no 1!

... and?

the point of the thread was highlighting that these two have, i believe, an unfortunate record... of having 5 #2's without having a #1, nothing to do with how well their overall career is doing, how many times theyve had a top ten, or anything like that.

OK, since going slightly off topic is such a crime, I'll answer your question.

Rochelle and Frankie currently share the record with German DJ/Production Team Sash!

All Fired Up got to number 3 (behind Pixie Lott and Maroon 5 ft. Christina)

Rochelle & Frankie:
One Step Closer
Automatic High
New Direction
Just Can't Get Enough
Forever Is Over

Sash!:
Encore Une Fois
Ecuador
Stay
Mysterious Times
Adelante

Frankie also featured on a Kids in Glass Houses track last year that went to #68, I think.

You seem a bit more sympathetic towards Frankie than the other Saturdays. Mind you, you admitted some time back to sharing the same birthday as her!
