Since all our appetites have been whet with this year's opening group dance, I thought I'd garner opinion on your fave group dances ever!

It can be an opening group dance featuring all the couples, one from later on in the particular series when competitor numbers had decreased, an all-girl/guy edition - anything as long as it featues both the pros and the celebs.

I'll kick off with my undoubted fave in Strictly history:

My reasons for this chioce:

~ the music - BRILLIANT!

~ every single one of them seems to be really enjoying themselves (yes even Will, poor though he was!)

~ individual standout performances from celebs Colin/Zoe & pro Ian (his super slinky hip action at 4:56 is nothing short of amazing ....really miss him!)

The series three Salsa is my favourite too.

And I don't know if it's cheating to include the pro/celeb champions routine that was shown the series Tom won, but I love that routine. It was really cleverly choreographed to show each celeb's strengths.

I remember watching Arlene taking the training for this and having really high hopes...must say, compared to what I was expecting, it turned out to be a bit of a damp squib....

I''m saying that it was a real shame because it really seemed to be coming together in training - the end result, while not bad, was just a little underwhelming for me.

Considering, this featured the largest number of dancers on the floor at one time (32), this was brilliantly choreographed by Darren Bennett. Great music choice too!

Almost perfect - even Kate Garraway did pretty well!!!. Shame about Kenny Logan though lol!!!
