Paloma Faith - 2nd album. When is it due?
Paloma is working on (or has finished?) her 2nd album. I remember her saying that if she had her way it'd be out way earlier than expected but due to management etc there's obviously some problem there. Quote: Quote:
During an interview with Digital Spy in March 2010, Faith revealed that she is working on a second album. She also revealed that if she continues to make losses for her record label they will drop her
-Which I find quite weird as DYTTOSB sold excellently. It was always in the iTunes charts and around this time last year it went back in top 20 . The highest position was #9 in the UK. |

I'd like to know this too. The second album is taking ages to materialise, for what reasons, I am unsure.
Hope to hear something soon. I haven't noticed any tweets regarding the album in a while (unless I missed them) |

Apparently the tour for the album is already booked, I recon she's either booked it for next spring or autumn, so to avoid the festival dates. I'd love a January release, I don't think it will be this year sadly.

I still listen to her debut a lot. I can't wait for her to comeback
I am eager to hear how her music has developed. Plus i hope she becomes a more successful. I mean Amy and Adele both did with their second albums. |

She would be better in coming out next year
The amount of new albums due for the remaining year is insane. |

There's clearly some kinda mishap. She even said so herself (well kinda).
I hope it comes out in January or something. Adele style. Then it could be Paloma's year? You never know! |

She said in a interview recently that she'd release the there and then if she had the chance but she was relying on other people (producers etc) who were being slow with the project.

That album is brilliant. "Stargazer" is nice too. |

Absolutely love Paloma, I was obsessed with her album at the beginning of 2010. Stone Cold Sober, New York, and Smoke and Mirrors are all fantastic songs. I'm glad that the second album is definitely happening fairly soon (as in it's all recorded and seemingly ready for release) as I was a little worried by her comments about possibly getting dropped. If the second album is as ambitious as her first (orchestras, choirs, jazz bands, lots of production) then she's really going to be under pressure to make more money. Well I'll happily chip in my £7.99!

Did you get to see her live? So many songs connected with me after seeing her live, she's such a show woman, cracking jokes, great band, everything was amazing.
I loved Smokes & Mirrors move than ever after seeing it live |
