Now it's been confirmed the X Factor USA will be shown on ITV2, how about Dancing With The Stars on BBC3?

I think that would be a brilliant move, but I'm still glad it's coming back to UK TV on Watch

Be nice if we could all watch it and not just smug Sky subscribers.

I doubt if the BBC could afford DWTS tbh.

The BBC did show an early series, but I don't think it proved very popular. It might be different now.

I am relieved its back on British TV after missing the last series.....I do think the BBC should show it and advertise it well as I am sure that a lot of British Strictly fans would watch if given the opportunity.

I was so angry at Watch for not airing the last season.

I'd wanted to see Petra Nemcova on a dancing show (I even emailed the BBC about getting her for Series 5 ) and was gutted I wasn't able to watch her on it. I found clips on YouTube, eventually.

I seem to recall the Laila Ali series AND the Mel B/ Jane Seymour series being shown mid-afternoon on a Sunday on BBC1? Or am I getting mixed up here!

I'm a smug virgin media subscriber so get to watch it too

In seriousness though, as others have said it is too expensive for the bbc, didn't get high enough ratings last time and you would get the inevitable backlash about them spending money on american imports rather than commisioning original shows.

Excellent stuff Kmc DWTS - yeah, well the DWTS critics were wrong, weren't they? They brought it back by public demand because there was such an outcry at losing it over here. Hundreds and hundreds complained.

I love that! Power to the couch potato!
