Don't get me started on that so-called "song". I can't stand it and it makes me want to throw something at the TV or smash the radio when it comes on.

I'd say it's a tie between Swagger Jagger and that Party rock anthem or Champagne Showers.

Terrible songs

Quite bloody possibly.

Not THE most annoying song of the year, but I do find it very, very, very annoying.

Just a matter of time before that song, minus the singing (leaving just the twee music and whistling) is used as backing for a supermarket ad featuring organic vegetables.

So it's Bruno Mars then eh?

Like I said, I've never heard it so it's hard to be annoyed by it. I'll make sure I look out for it though!

Don't bother. There are far better songs out there.

No, that crown goes to Cher Lloyd and Swagger Jagger.

Even the video is just as annoying.

Oh and don't get me started on 'Marry You', ''is it that look in your eyes, or is it this dancing juice'.. WHAT?!''

Rant over, I look forward to all the angry responses, and the ones that agree I suppose! ”

Echo every word you have said, Bruno Mars is awful, 'The Lazy Song' and 'Marry You' are 2 of the worst songs of the year along with 'Swagger Jagger'.

Probably Morrisons is the best bet.

God there's been loads:
ALL of Bruno Mars' songs
Party Rock Anthem
That appalling one by Pitbull and Ne-Yo
One Direction's song
Swagger Jagger

I hate the song, but the prize was already made for 'Swagger Jagger' the day it was released

It's a VERY lazy song but there are others too:

On The Floor - JLo
Party Rock Anthem - LMFAO
Other Bruno Mars songs

Fortunately, I've never heard Swagger Jagger so can't comment.

Sorry but this is a thread for annoying 'songs', that disgusting collection of noise and shouts is far from what one could feasibly call a 'song'.

It's annoyingly catchy and Bruno Mars is very goodlooking... but he cannot. write. lyrics. to. save. his. life.
The lyrics in this song are actually appalling, and the music video is ridiculous. I can't do it justice, though.
Todd in the Shadows reviewed this song, and he's bang on. He does loads of other songs too. I'd recommend him.

There's a few annoying songs to be fair besides The Lazy Song, the latest ones annoying me are;
Jedward - Bad Behaviour
Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger
One Direction - What Makes You Beautiful

I think the exact opposite. To me, The Lazy Song isn't catchy in the slightest. It's just boring, dreadful. Nothing happens in the song. It just sends me to sleep. So boring. And I don't think he's that good-looking either.

The Lazy Song is terrible, but I think he's a good song-writer. Not on his own songs, but when he does hip hop songs (e.g. Nothin' on You, Billionaire, Lighters), they're quite good.

The Lazy Song is incredibly annoying (and the video is just as bad), but Swagger Jagger is much worse. Last Friday Night deserves a mention too.

It is indeed, and possibly the most annoying song of the past few years too.
