will they let you look at them in the shop? or will the shutters be down

egg and bacon sandwiches here sssh dont tell the government
Around here Good Friday is probably the busiest day of the year for chippies.

I'm having fish & chips because of the throwback of having fish on Fridays.

I've invited my brother to stay tonight as we've been at Go Ape today swinging in the trees!

We've just stopped at Sainsbury's and got an Indian 'takeaway' to have a bit later.

It was going to be a spinach, asparagus and gruyere tart with parmesan potatoes but we forgot the gruyere, so unless we can be bothered to get some, it'll be Chinese!

Off out for a big cooked breakfast shortly so probably won't be too hungry later. I have some pizza leftovers or chorizo and red pepper jambalaya so will see how we feel!

My brother is still here, but is being fussy with food!

I'm going to have sausages with cauliflower cheese and perhaps some potato wedges (or something potato like). He is having chicken fajitas. I'm used to just cooking for me, so two different meals is a rarity! I don't have enough wraps for us to have the same though and don't want to go out again.

Massive roast today! Just about to put my leg of lamb in the oven which has been marinating in olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, Rosemary, dried mint and garlic. Served with roast potatoes, peas, carrots, parsnips, cauliflower, broccoli, Yorkshire puddings and gravy. For pudding I've got a berry crumble and custard and a lovely bottle of red

Oh, and a lot of chocolate and Easter eggs for later
