Plums
I've can remember going to stay with my grandparents as a child and having a lot of stewed fruit.
I bought some plums today and stewed them. Then I added some oats. It was delicious. |

There was a glut of plums near me this year, I picked 2 large carrier bags full!!
I made stewed plums, plum crumble, plum jam (which didn't work) a plum and almond tart (yummy) and also put a load in vodka with sugar for yummy flavoured vodka. I can do with out plums for a while!!!! |

Plums are like tomatoes for me. I love the flavour - plum sauce tomato sauce etc but hate plums and tomatoes themselves
Made good wine from plums though

Is that the one with marzipan and puff pastry?

No, no marzipan involved. Just a pastry case (shop bought) make the filling out of 200 grms each of sugar, ground almonds, butter and 2 eggs., pour in the filling press in the plum halves and bake.
