What I don't understand is why Simon doesn't travel back in time and do all the SuperHoodie stuff, but when he saves Alisha's life he wears a bullet proof jacket and so doesn't die himself. That way when Alisha's attacked by Virtue girl in the season three finale, he can stop her being killed again.

Then he can tell his present self that he needs to travel back in time to kickstart the whole process off, and then carry on his relationship with Alisha. That way everyone lives happily ever after, and it's hardly a big diversion from his plan.

As for season four, I'd be interested in some kind of arc which explains what exactly the storm was, whether it was artificially created for a reason, and just why the powers are always linked to some aspect of the person's personality...

We need someone like Simon who takes the leads and understands when something weird is happening. I'd like a really dark character who keeps himself to himself, doesn't interact much but has a really strong personality and history behind him and helps protect the group.

In this 3rd series she's done absolutely nothing, apart from stripping to her undies for Simon to snog. Perhaps she's leaving the show because she's fed up stripping to her undies. Maybe a new undies girl will arrive for Series 4.

They can't use Kelly for that role because, despite her new image as the femme fatale of the show, she has a face like a slapped arse.
This did make me laugh but in my opinion Alisha developed the most of all the characters. She started off as a nasty piece of work and was constantly horrible to Simon. She was self obsessed and didn't care about anyone else but by the end of series 3 she had showed a more vulnerable side and showed that she did care about others like with Rudy. In the Nazis episode she just did what was needed to survive and her relationship with Simon brought out a really different side to the character.

Well I had lost faith in MIsfits this series. I wasn't keen on the storylines and could not warm to Rudy, even though Nathan wasn;t a favourite character of mine, Rudy seemed a poor imitation.

However I had series linked the episodes and when I read here that Iwan and Antonia had left I knew I had to watch the final two episodes and glad I did. It felt like Misfits again finally (Even with annoying Rudy!)

Although I knew Alisha was going to die and this thread had told me it was a meaningless death I was shocked when it happened. It felt like everything being tied up and I had a little "aaah" moment when I saw Simon watching the original 5 and made me realise why I loved the show.

I will miss the characters of SImon and Alisha (especially SImon, damn that boy is hot) and as I am not keen on Rudy, I am worried Kelly, Curtis (and maybe Seth) can carry the show.

I will tune in and see I suppose!

Someone more confident than that. Simon was shy at the start and it took him 3 series to grow into a confident bloke. We need someone ready made.

I just saw the zombie episode. I didn't know you had cheerleaders in the UK, so that was odd.

No Lauren Socha in series 4 (kelly) no surprise considering her vile actions. I also don't believe the conviction has nothing to do with the decision.

We all make mistakes and Cheryl Cole did. We have to let some people make mistakes from time to time. We can all say things when drunk that we regret later. For me, myself, I will miss her, it seems like too many people have left now. Its going to take some super great storylines to maintain its standard now that too many super-likeable characters are gone.

The incident was last year, and C4 seem to suggest that the decision was made at the same time as the other leaving cast members (earlier this year), which seems very unlikely as they would have announced it at the same time.

It seems more likely that her return would have been dependent on whether she was convicted or not.

The C4 statement has the unmistakable smell of PR bulls**t...

[Gutted. The last series of Misfits didn't hit the spot and I hated Rudy.

I would never have thought Being Human would last without Mitchell George and Annie but I adore the introductions of Hal, Tom and Alex. Misfits is going to have to up it's game to introduce the new characters as I REALLY dislike Rudy!

I've got the series saved, but still haven't watched it yet.
Oh dear, didn't know that about Lauren, rather fancied her too.

I love Seth, he's really gorgeous as well. So I guess if he stays, I'm happy enough. Curtis is the worst of the originals though, just never cared that much about his character. And Nathan was the best, but I still enjoyed the series without him, it just lost some of the humour for me.

Indeed. It's like when the boy who played Daz was axed from Emmerdale. He was pleading not guilty to assault but then changed his plea to guilty. Once he admitted guilt the makers said they could no longer be seen to stick by him, ITV were quite upfront about it. I can't see how this is not pretty much the same scenario.

I hope Seth can stay in it as I really liked him, Nathan has grown on me so I hope they do more with him

I actually quite liked Rudy, despite earlier misgivings. But I still think he looked too old to be part of the group.

I hope they keep Seth - there needs to be some eye candy there.

I don't think the show can ever be as good as it was originally, but Being Human managed a great cast overhaul, so who knows.

Ridiculous the show now only has one original character
Alisha's death was just for shock factor and nothing else but Simon's departure made sense

I am glad Lauren Socha has left to be honest. She is nothing but a gobby chav who can't act and was the worst thing about the show. How she won a bafta won over such talent last year to be is an absolute joke?

It's a shame series 3 wasn't a proper wrap up and Series 4 focussed on a new set of Misfits like how Skins does.

I'm really quite open to a new cast. They've just got to be good! People will always compare them to the old cast, that can't be escaped. But if the new characters are good in their own right then Misfits could actually benefit from fresh faces. I think Misfits is bigger than any one character.

Does anyone know when this might be repeated on CH4? I've been waiting for the HiDef versions, however my estimate based on last year is now out by 3 weeks, and still no sign.

Bump, still no joy.

I got a friend who works on the BARB data to do a search seeing how long the CH4 repeat took last time. However that date is now 17 weeks past, and still no sign!

Pretty sure all the series are on Netflix. Watch the whole lot for £5.99.

Wow its eventually arrived and it was a full 26 weeks later than the HD repeat of the previous series. So its been a full year.

At last.
