After the announcement of Rihanna's sixth studio album due to be released soon. I thought i would do a poll of what is her best album to date.

Personally my favourite came down to Rated R. As soon as i heard Loud, i kept thinking, this is her best album but then i would slyly go back to Rated R. I think i secretly knew that Rated R was such a strong album and every song just blew my mind and this was the Rihanna we had never seen before.

So what is everyone else's favourite?

1. Good Girl Gone Bad - Love the tracks and orignatlity of this album, so many different genres and flavours in one album!
2. Loud - Very good album, a little generic, but it has some smashers of songs, and her voice is very good on the slow songs!
3. A Girl Like Me - Classic Rihanna IMO and I like hearing the different songs she has played with, although it was a very 'safe' album IMO
4. Music of the Sun - Decent debut album!
5. Rated R - Got very bored of the songs on this album, many of them get boring and after a few plays the album IMO lacks direction and ingenuity. Though there are SOME good songs on this album.

I think album 6, will be a very good one!

Rated R is my favourite/ her best.

Followed by Loud. Then GGGB.

I don't rate the other two but the 2nd is slightly better than the 1st thanks to Unfaithful and SOS.

Rated R is definitely her best. Its fantastic from start to finish, there's no filler whatsoever, and it contains the two best songs of her career (Cold Case Love and Fire Bomb).

Rated R is AMAZING. There isn't a single track that I skip or would even think about skipping on that album.

Even the bonus tracks are amazing, especially Hole In My Head. It's hands down her best best album imo.

Rated R definitely. There are some absolutely fantastic tracks on that album so it's a shame it didn't sell well. Russian Roulette is one of her best imo.

Rated R is the bomb <3 best album by a country mile. G4L, Cold Case Love, Firebomb, Mad House, Wait Your Turn are my favourites (basically the whole damn album). I need her to release Rated R 2.0 in the future.

Next will have to be GGGB. Disturbia, the title track, Rehab are all amazing.I love whoever voted for MOTS it is better than AGLM fo' sure.

Rated R! Love RIhanna and i felt it was very dark and personal lyrically. Very good for trying something new this early anyway! BUT she really pushed herself, to think she was 20/21 when she recorded the album! So many corkers and very originally and expertly crafted album too.

The style was very grace jones that era too which i loved. And that whole apocalyptic/chaotic vibe she had with the production. Also allowed for some Island Roots music influences in the album, some CLub, Electro, Dub Step, grime, Dance and Rock on the album! Definitely will be tough to match but i hope she pushes for darker sounds.

Hard to believe it was a year ago since Only girl In The World premiered on radio stations!

I voted 'Rated R'. 'Good Girl Gone Bad' and 'Loud' probably have the best singles, but 'Rated R' is her most consistent and cohesive album to date in my opinion.

'Rated R'!This album is simply amazing.I really think that if they could choose their damn singles right ('Rockstar 101' for 4th single in the US?'Te Amo' for 4th single worldwide? No 'Fire Bomb' single??'Hard' being the album launching single without being released worldwide??'Wait Your Turn' having an amazing video and never being released?) then it could be a classic for the urban pop genre.

It's a classic in my eyes! Only dud on it is probably Photographs mainly due to Will.I.Am's weak verses. The song I skip most of the time though is The Last Song. I just can't get into it!

Yeah, Photographs is my least favourite track as well. I absolutely LOVE The Last Song though, I'm surprised you don't like it! I wish Rated R had sold as well as GGGB/Loud.

Loud and GGGB are amazing albums though as well.

I love 'The Last Song' as well. It's not my fave from 'Rated R' but it's a perfect closure for a perfect album.I guess it's one of those songs that you either like or dislike, sort of like 'Final Goodbye' (my favorite!!) was on AGLM.Also, Mad House HAS to be one of the best intros of all time!I agree that 'Photographs' is not very good, but it's not a bad song, either tbh.The song that I never managed to get into as much as I did with my favorites from the album is 'Cold Case Love'.I think it's great, but I just don't connect to it as much...

I agree with The Last Song, perfect end to the album. I didn't like it at first but in ironic fasion...was the last song for me to like...once i liked that, i could listen to the whole album without no skips. PERFECT ALBUM!

Onto the Cold Case Love comment, in my opinion, it should have been a single and the final song to be released from the album. Such a beautiful and haunting song. Maybe this might change your view on the song....

Listen to this and let me know whether you have changed your mind...

I don't think it's a bad song and I like it a lot, but just not as much as some other 'Rated R' tracks.Still very good, though.

Rated R really is her best work I think, are other albums have 3 or 4 good songs that will all likely be singles where as Rated R feels like a complete cohesive album.

Rated r

Wow, 31 people have voted for it

It just goes to show you can have a big seller like Good Girl Gone Bad but deep down, it's really Rated R that is her most appreciated and respected piece of work.

I fell in love with Rihanna when I heard Rated R, it's just so good. It's very arty and is a strong album on the whole, despite not having many 'smash hits' on there.

I thought nothing could ever top Rated R but Loud does it for me. It's just a collection of fantastic pop songs that spans so many genres and has kept me listening to it over and over again for months.

So it's Loud for me!

Can't wait for the sixth album.

Truly baffled at the love for Rated R.

Aside from Rockstar 101, Hard, Russian Roulette and The Last Song it was a snoozefest.
