Could The Wanted Go International..?
The Wanted seemed to have turned a corner recently with a media tour of Australia, confirmed to open for Justin Bieber in South America and 'All Time Low' reaching #19 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs in the US..! So could they be the first Brit boyband in a long time to go international..?
They are easily the most talented boyband in the UK at the moment, they have (mostly) better vocals than both JLS and One Direction, can all play instruments and have co-written and co-produced their new album..! |

I would have thought JLS would make it over The Wanted.
They are working with Diane Warren on their new album. She has written two songs for them. She wrote Unbreak My Heart, There You'll Be and I Don't Want To Miss A Thing. |

When I was in France last month they had glad you came on the radio.....a lot! I was grateful to hear something familiar! : ) I think they could do well internationally if they put the work in.

I think they could. Glad You Came could be a hit in Europe (if it hasn't been already).
However, reaching #19 on the Dance Chart in the US isn't a particularly big achievement! Even the likes of Peacock by Katy Perry and Better than Today by Kylie Minogue have got to #1 on that chart!! Who knows what could get to #19?

The real question is "SHOULD The Wanted go international?".I think they should remain a local disgrace, like many other acts and their music must not to be spread around the world.

OMG NO. 4/5 of them CAN'T sing fact. Literally Max is the only decent singer in the whole band.
2/3 them just talk their lines because they actually cannot sing, it's dreadful and the others have so little singing ability it makes no difference. Every live performance I've seen has featured them singing horrendously off key, off pitch and out of breath. To save the UK from becoming an international laughing stock, they should stay firmly chained to the UK and NOWHERE else. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPVzFnLqk20 This proves that they should NEVER go international ![]()

I like the lads, they're not my boyband of choice but they do some good songs. I have to say they wouldn't work internationally, Glad You Came aside. They're too 'UK' in sound with songs like Gold Forever.

I'm really surprised they've even come this far. The first time I saw them on one of their fledgling TV performances I thought they looked very mismatched and awkward.

I'll be amazed if they do, don't boybands essentially survive on looks?
