Most cameras have a burst mode. There's no special one.

The only difference is how many you want it to take in a burst mode. The price for such a camera can increase rapidly. The Canon EOS 7D has a pretty decent rate. (Off the top of my head, I think it's something like 8fps).

My Cannon EOS 500D does 3fps but it slows down after a few seconds as the memory buffer fills up.

The fps rate increases as the camera price increases. I think the EOS 5D mk2 does soemthing like 15fps but it's not cheap.

The 5DMk2 does 4 frames per second when shooting JPEG. There isn't a Canon camera that shoots 15fps yet, the 1DMkIV will shoot at 10fps but will cost you around £3k body only.

I got a Sony hx9v over the Summer and it is a fantastic (if pricey) camera.

This can shoot up to 10fps and with the image stabilization and tracking focus the pictures are fantastic. Just takes a while to write all the data after the 10th shot so it can be a a short while before you take photos again.

The sweep panorama is awesome and the 16x optical zoom is great as well.
