i saw that it was advertised that there were 2 strictly shows at the weekend ? were there ? or was it an error or a repeat ? thanks

Sunday's show was a repeat of Saturday.

It will be Friday and Saturday, not Saturday and Sunday.
7 couples on Friday, 7 on Saturday.
The same the following week but with 7 and 6.
At the third weekend the two nights coalesce into Saturday only with, by then, a more manageable 12 couples.

Not sure about there being a Sunday show, I believe on Saturday after dancing there will be a gap for voting then part 2 and the elimination result. Best to read the gobbledygook from the horses mouth on BBC.co.uk/Strictlycomedancing.

Friday's show will be at a very early hour.

No, that's a little bit wrong, sorry

On Friday 30th September & Saturday 1st October, 7 couples will perform each night. There will be no elimination.

The next week, the 14 couples dance alltogether, and one is eliminated. It carries on as normal for the rest of the competition. The results is pre-recorded on Sat and shown on Sunday, like last year.

And the Friday show was at 9.00 last year.
