I would guess because if Estelle keeps being nominated and Ava doesn't put in the groundwork with the others then Estelle is evicted, the others may not accept Ava as they may see it as she'd only be bothering with them because Estelle is no longer there.

Me too, I find the more they show of her, the more I like her.

“ but when she was complaining about Angie for the bitching, why did she name Ben as someone she could talk to about it? Surely he has bitched about Estelle just as much as Angie? Having said that, he seemed very genuine in his talk to Estelle after she was nominated.”
Tbh, the HMs seem to have a strong liking for Ben and they do seem to gravitate towards him. Maybe he's not being edited in the same light as the HMs see him.

“ How many times has Stacey randomly announced to a small group that Ava doesn't like her?”
A pretty nifty way of trying to influence voting inside the House and out?
I went off Michael a bit this week which is completely random as it's the first time I can remember him actually moaning about something! More me than him I think.
Sam I feel a bit blase about - he'd have to show a bit more than what they females in the House seem ready to deem as 'great'.
I am still intrigued as to why all the girls are attracted to Josh - also wish BB would ask the girls to explain why! He must have something about him that isn't coming across in the programme and he's probably really nice.
After episode 33 (or 34), I'm finding it hard to say positive things as I really disliked the females being paraded as possible meat for Sam.
