Spoiler
I was glad Michael was put up as I felt he really did believe he was safe and on a home run. Just want to see how he reacts to this but don't want him to go, even though I'm not a big fan of his. I really can't stand Sam and Bradley annoys me lots as well, so either of these going would be a plus!

If you're posting a new message (ie not quoting) click on go advanced and click on the light grey 'S' that is on the right hand side above the smilies. You can then type between the codes. Or Type what you want and highlight it, then click on the grey S.

You can also type the codes at the beginning of the bit you want spoiled and then at the end. ie [SPOLIER] and [/SPOLIER] I've spelt spoiler wrong to show the example, but obviously spell it right!!!

I think this was a sort of fluffy filler event
Bringing in 'Intruders' in AU always results in them going first it seems
The timimg of the 2 new housmates seems a BB strategy to keep orginal housemats in longer -- the way they came in with a week in between also gives the opportunity to waste two evictions and ensure an Intruder will be up the following week
Still loving BBAU more than the recent BBUK

Ooh, I don't know exactly what save and replace is or how it works but there's a little side of me that thinks that could be good

It was a bit of a fixed grin from him. I would nominate everyone who nominated Michael - he's one of my favourites.

Wonder if my brother would vote by proxy

Just a test spoiler posting.

Hope that's worked and if it does - thank you

It was a bit odd wasn't it - probably due to Ava's behaviour which I found a bit bizarre when it continued.

They're very vulnerable aren't they as the public hasn't had time to 'bond' with them.

The thing I found interesting is how Ava remained on the outside but Sam went straight for it and I thought he was pretty much accepted and then, he's nominated by some and up for eviction. It will be interesting to see if the Australian public keep Angie or Brad in over Sam (I refuse to accept they might not support Michael)

Where did you see that? I've been looking for Confidential but can't find it (I think the next one is episode 7?)

Well new HMs go earlier in every Big Brother anywhere I suppose. That's why they always tend to get immunity the first week. In the British one they used to put them in alone and then changed it and put a group of them in together as they had more of a chance to last longer then.

Michael is far from safe, first time up so we don't know his level of support. We know Angie and Bradley have a lot of support as they have survived multiple evictions. The young girls may just save Sam. Michael is an arrogant prick he may not have enough support.

It is a very difficult one.

As you say, Micheal is untested, and he is arrogant, but tradition would say sam to go, and hes very arrogant as well, perhaps moreso.

Indeed, this series, I'm finding the supposed 'nice' housemates not very nice at all to be honest, Micheal's an egotist with a sense of superiority to rival anyone, although he can be very funny when he chooses to , and I find stacey and ben really rather obnoxious people, very vindictive to people who dont conform to their way of behaving, extremely bitchy too. Angie is very , very immature when you scratch the surface, all of her worst behaviour has stemmed from a childish reaction to something, usually one of the men, and josh is just very, very dull.

Bradley gets on my nerves a bit, and hes quite nasty on the sly, that leaves zoe ,estelle and layla.

All three flawed, all very watchable though, every week estelle is saved I cant help but laugh at the looks from the others.

I think all these housemates are actually fairly equal in their positive/negative qualities, I don't think anyone is out and out the most nasty or bitchy. They all seem to go through a stage of looking like the worst one, only for it to change a few days later, in my opinion anyway.

Ironically I think the one who's coming across better than the rest is Estelle, as she is the one getting the least hung-up about analysing others and paranoid about the group dynamic. I think she lacks a certain relatability with people though.

I've managed to find out who it is! It's Sam! - http://www.bigbrother.com.au/video/?...5-99abe237c082 (Video not viewable in the UK, but it says there was a life drawing class)

Nice to the superpower working out well. Imagine if Estelle won the whole show, would love to see the housemates faces

I kind of like Bradley now, he still can be quite rude at times, but I prefer him over Ben and Stacey.

No idea who I want out this week, I like them all in different ways.

If you don't watch the show live, you probably won't have seen this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iyv6CgPp8k

According to someone on Youtube- "Each housemate was called to the captains quarters and filmed it alone in front of a green screen."

One (only one not all) of the nominated HMs can save themselves, and somebody else not previously nominated takes their place. They had it in the 11th British series, also the 7th Australian one (which I just finished looking at and was brilliant).

On the nominations I thought Ben's reason for nominating Sam (because he was too sweet) was ridiculous.

Unless they start giving her airtime beyond the victim storyline she has no chance.

And the airtime of HMs seems geared to particular favourites they have, Michael and Josh 'earn' a reward apparently in the latest episode.

And I thought Zoe seemed to go to the DR to apologise to the fans she thinks Michael has. Why say you are upset about someone being nominated for eviction, it's all part of the game. To say you just nominated someone as you didn't think they would be up isn't believable anyway, as well as not being a valid reason to nominate even if it was true.

So much for what I said about Michael after being nominated:
'And the hilarious thing is that he can't discuss it with anyone, he's just going to have to remain paranoid about it.'

Of course Michael NEEDS to analyse everything to death. lol

Estelle's superpower has shook the whole house up, her relationship with Michael needed to change though. He needs to acknowledge her as an equal person in the house, not just some irritant that can be easily got rid of.

What is with Sam saying how he's not going anywhere and that he's still on course to win. Is it an attempt to make himself seem interesting because he knows intruders have a tough time making their mark?

That last episode was hilarious with Josh and Michael in bed (or not, as the case may be) and the kissing thing. Also, Delilah asleep, so cute.

That surprised me - I just thought it was a random drawing! Now we know why it was Sam - he was the one starkers and reclining on a lounger! Good job I'm not in that House, I'd have spoilt it by saying 'Sam, put your knickers back on'

To be fair, she's the only one that has used it wisely.

I hope it is Angie - her moping and moaning spoils the show. Estelle isn't my favourite but she wouldn't be the first I would like to see leave either.

This is exactly what I mean about the difference between BBAU and BBUK - I love that clip (quite like the song as well) and the whole programme just comes across much more professional and polished than ours.

Going into BBUK, you need to wear the skin of a rhino to survive, BBAU just a ready smile (and maybe a layer of oil on the skin to allow the odd comment to slide off).

Have just wastched Confidential and Michael's song was good - not sure why things like that aren't shown on the regular show (I used to have a friend who played guitar and he would often play random songs with all of us featuring in the song (not always in a flattering light either - hmmm) but that's probably why Michael's strumming appealed to me; happy memories).

Zoe, apart from the odd slipup, seems to be a sensitive soul so maybe the nominating does get to her. When those you didn't gel with have gone, you're left with people you've really bonded with so it would be hard to nominate. If I was in there and no-one particularly irritated me, I might go the route of throwing a nomination away by using it on someone that I thought would be uber safe - maybe she did that and it has backfired because of Estelle's vote and now she feels really bad about it.

There's a Stacy moment coming up: Aaw, that sounds really mean; but I like it

I shall be watching all the other BBAU series when this one has finished (or in my muddled world, I'll be talking about HMs that went years ago lol)
